Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Multi-Action Creme Cleanser/Moisture Mask

It has been a long long time since I have last interacted with all of you. I have been missing IMBB and all of you so much. The past one month was heaven and hell combined together for me. It was the month of the pujas…The Biswakarma Puja…the Durga puja (Navratri), the Laxmi puja (Kojagiri Purnima); the Kali puja (Diwali); then the Bhai Dooj followed by the Chat puja. It was an awesome time with all these pujas falling in the same month. But along with it comes the sadness; that once all these pujas are over; the year is nearly gone. I had planned to enjoy myself to the hilt.  And then catastrophe dawned in the form of conjunctivitis; first of my driver, then my hubby and my son had it and finally I, me, myself. All of them had eye infection in just one eye; but I had it first in one and then in another eye. I put the prescribed eye drops in the first eye when my other eye showed the same symptoms, but instead of improving; it worsened and worsened. To cut a long story short; it was a miserable time for me; with the doctor declaring that I might become blind forever in one eye. It was horror and fever and pain all combined. I was told not to read books or use mobile phones or tabs or anything. I was to keep my eyes shut all day. I had a help who used to conduct me throughout the house; or else I was always banging into one furniture or the other.  I was to put on an eye patch on one eye (just like Johnny Depp in The Pirates of the Caribbean) and at night like Gandhaari. It was a stressful time for all of us; and Thanks to God; and to your best wishes; finally I am now on the road to recovery.

Well; too much about me. I have been collecting so many beauty products over the last few weeks; and my relatives; who had come over to India for the Pujas had also brought many gifts. So, now I will start finally reviewing them one by one. Today, I am reviewing a cleanser which I got from Estee Lauder store in Kolkata. My skin type is normal to dry; which becomes even more dry in winters; so most of the products I got are mainly keeping the winters in view.

As your daily cleanser, use AM and PM. Massage gently onto dry skin. Tissue or rinse off. As a moisture mask.use twice a week or as needed. Massage over clean face.Wait 3 minutes and tissue off.  Benefits: Cushions as it cleanses. Non foaming crème.Works for all skin types.Ideal for Dry skin. Dermatologist tested. Ophthalmologist tested.

24 months after opening the tube.

My Experience with Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Multi-Action Creme Cleanser/Moisture Mask:

The product comes in a bluish green color tube packaging; with a flip cap at the top. The outlet hole is quite small; so no issues of massive amount of product coming out at once. However, I would have preferred a box packaging for this high price-luxury brand product.

The cleanser is white in color; and has a nice floral fragrance. However, I could have done without the fragrance in my cleanser. Thankfully, it has not broken me out; but sensitive skin types may better check out a tester first. The consistency is perfect; neither too thick; nor too runny either.  The cleanser has to be applied on dry skin, massaged for some time; and then either rinse it or tissue it off. I, myself prefer the rinsing off method.

I feel this cleanser works best as the first morning time cleanser. It will remove any creams or serums which you may have applied overnight; and really give an awesome “Fair and Lovely” kind of glow to the skin.  It leaves the skin extremely soft and supple; and is indeed suitable for all skin types.

However; I am not very satisfied with it when removing my makeup. I have used it on wet face, dry face; as a rinse off or as a tissue off, but the result is the same. It does not remove hardcore makeup well at all. If you are just using some sunscreen or BB cream, it does remove it well; but anything more than that is beyond its limits.

I have also applied it as a mask, kept it for 5-10 minutes and then rinsed it off. It immediately penetrates into the skin; and becomes transparent within a few minutes. It gives a nice cooling sensation on to your face; and on rinsing off; the skin does look bright; feels soft and supple and immensely hydrated.  It is supposed to be ophthalmologically tested. But do beware; it really stings yours eyes when you are rinsing it off your face. Also, I do not like the fact that Estee Lauder still tests its products on animals.

• Easy to carry during travels.
• Shelf life of 24 months.
• Nice, floral fragrance.
• Consistency is perfect.
• Suitable for all skin types; especially for dry skin types.
• Excellent as a morning face wash for removing any overnight creams and masks.
• Gives a glow to the skin.
• Has not broken me out.
• Very small amount needed.
• Can be rinsed off or tissue-d off.
• Leaves skin very soft, supple, and hydrated.
• Can be used as a mask; makes skin very soft and supple.

Cons of Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Multi-Action Creme Cleanser/Moisture Mask:

• Packaging could have been better.
• Expensive.
• Availability in India is limited.
• Does not foam at all.
• Does not remove makeup effectively.
• Stings the eyes.
• Contains fragrance in it; which may cause trouble for very sensitive skin types.

Would I Repurchase Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Multi-Action Creme Cleanser/Moisture Mask?

No, I won’t. For my “un madeup” face, there are many cheaper options in the market. This one claims to get your skin perfectly clean; but it fails in removing makeup. It stings my eyes during rinsing; and foremost; I could have really done without the fragrance.
