Here’s a new lip product from Estee Lauder! I knew I had to get my hands on this. It’s been a while since I bought lip products. I have been trying to control my product grabbing impulses because I’m starting to run out of storage space. Unfortunately, couldn’t resist this one.

My Experience with Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion – Not So Innocent:
As I told you already, this is a lip product I picked out after a very long time. So obviously, there had to be something special about it. This is a product that completely lives upto its claims. The colour I purchased is “#210 Not So Innocent,” which is a soft peachy pink which appears like a washed-out pink on my lips. The texture is creamy and wet when you first apply it; I kind of expected it to mattify. It dries up pretty quickly and when it does, it’s an almost dry, wet luscious texture; very satin-like. It reminds me of the Yves Saint Laurent Lip Stain except for the stain part; glossy but not too much.
The product is super hydrating and doesn’t dry your lips at all. About the 8-hour lasting power, I can’t say that it lasted 8 hours for me, maybe a good four hours if I remember right. However, I do love reapplying lip products every few hours because I like it when the product looks fresh. So, the lasting power really doesn’t matter to me. A good amount of essential oils in there for that moisturized pack up.
The wet look is relatively new to me. I usually like the matte look on my lips. I pick out matte lipsticks because I feel they cover my natural dark lip colour perfectly. This is the first time I didn’t have to use a lip liner with a non-matte lip product. Also, I’m kind of digging the wet look on my lips; it feels so smooth.
I picked this up at 24.50€, which is cheaper than how much it is at Sephora. For me, it is reasonably priced. The colour selection is so good, I’m almost tempted to go back and get a few more. It was so hard for me to pick a colour. The product glides on really well and colour pay off is intense. The product is highly pigmented but not sticky or thick. The simple yet technically designed applicator makes it very easy to apply. Packaging is great, so no leakage to be expected. I hate lip glosses that I pay so much for and leaks in my handbag. This is a great combo of a lipstick, lip gloss and lip stain. So far, this is love for me.
