This is another review of the lipstick I bought as part of my Estee Lauder haul. Like I mentioned in the review of the shade “Irresistible”, I used to buy a lot of lipsticks and most of them I had to trash because poor quality and drugstore lipsticks eventually start to feel substandard and feel cheap. So now, I have become conscious of the quality of makeup I buy and I have quit hoarding products I don’t find myself reaching for during my regular makeup routine. I had a mini Estee Lauder haul and bought three lipstick shade as part of that haul, here I review one of those three lipstick shades.

My Experience with the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick- 110 Insatiable Ivory:
The product comes in an elegant packaging. Royal blue cap and a gold, metal, twist-up case to hold the product. The cap has the brand name and again it adds to the elegance of the product.
The colour of the lipstick is a nude beige– and I guess it has neutral undertones because warm lipstick shades stand out on my face in a very unflattering manner but this one did not look unnatural on my face. Rather it complimented well with dark smokey eye look or some dramatic eye makeup look.
The finish is exactly like the lipstick shade I reviewed last. It has a very pretty, cream finish. Although I personally prefer a matte finish but in this case, I can make an exception because the finish of this product is extremely pretty and does not outlandish on my face.
The lasting power is obviously like the usual cream finish lipsticks. It lasts few hours and wipes off completely without a trace after a meal. It does not stain lips or feather or get flaky – the usual issues we face with lipsticks. The product is well made and does feel like a high-end product. However, since these lipsticks retail for $32, they might seem a bit too steep for some and there are cheaper and equally good alternatives as well – lip shades by Loreal and Maybelline are equally amazing and affordable.
Pros of the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick- 110 Insatiable Ivory:
– The packaging is very sturdy and elegant – it does feel like a high-end product
– Comes in a good size tube
– It has a very subtle fragrance which vanishes soon after
– The color is nude beige which pairs well with dark or dramatic eye makeup
– The product has a very pretty cream finish and does not look garish
– There are 50 shades to choose from and have different finishes as well
Cons of the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick- 110 Insatiable Ivory:
– Availability can be an issue for some but I guess they do ship worldwide
– It can be a little too expensive for some
– This particular shade can be a bit tricky to work with for darker skin tones and has to be paired with the right kind of eye look
My Verdict:
It is a beautiful yet a bit tricky lipstick shade which will look pretty on almost all skin tones. It has a cream finish which adds just the right amount of shine to lips and adds elegance to face. It can be worn alone or can be paired with a dramatic eye look. It can be a little too expensive for some and that can be a con for some of us.
