Estee Lauder Pure Color Lip Gloss Twilight Petal ( no. 59) is pale mauve pink gloss with golden shimmer to it. I don’t know but this gloss has a three dimensional kind of a thing . The shimmer in it is a reflective shimmer ,which makes your lips look pouty and big. Also because of this shimmer , the fine lines on your lips are less visible.
- The shimmer is not chunky or gritty. The shimmer just gives a high shine to your lips.
- I love the faint strawberry smell of the Estee Lauder gloss.
- The shades comes as a nude pink color when applied on lips. Those who have pigmented lips should either put use a lip pencil or concealer on lips to get the real shade.
- The gloss is not very sticky and keeps my lips hydrated.
- Personally I think this shade would look pretty on beauties with fair complexion. On me or someone who is a shade darker than me, this gloss would look almost like a clear gloss with a hint of pink.
- The gloss looks more of a layering gloss than just worn alone.
- the gloss doesn’t drip or bleed toward the edges of the mouth.
Talking from Indian complexion perspective, I don’t think this would be the most flattering shade.

you know these days my lips feel inadequate with only a lipstick/gloss on. i need both of them together. any suggestions for opaque glosses?
Rima, my only suggestion would be to take care of your lips first. Like exfoliate using sugar+ olive oil thingy and then apply lip balm. You’d be able to use everything after that. How are those maybelline color sensation glosses?
oyee i don’t think you understood what i said.. i mean that my current obsession is to first apply a lipstick and then a gloss. if i apply only a lipstick or only a gloss, my lips feel incomplete. my lips are prone to dryness but i try my best to take care of them.
the maybelline gloss is fine. tingles my lips and smells quite orangey. 🙂 i am not very fussy with lip glosses as long as they aren’t very sticky but i wanna try out some opaque shades this time.

I am a big Estee Lauder fan. I bought these pure color lip glosses in shades orchid passion and wet cranberry. I love them. I am an old lady so I mostly stay away from glosses but I anyway gave these a trial. Estee glosses are one of the best items i have purchased in past few months. I went back and picked some of the single eye shadows as well. Everything is perfectly created.
