I never paid attention to eye creams but, of late, I have realized that even the skin around our eyes needs extra care. I am a Sr. Software Engineer by profession and my eyes are on the computer screen the entire day. They look tired and almost stoned by end of the day. So, I picked up Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+ Global Anti-Aging Cell Power Eye Balm. I also have an eye cream from Clinique but it did not fare well as it felt too heavy and uneasy on my eyes. Let’s see how this one fared.

My Experience with Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+ Global Anti-Aging Cell Power Eye Balm:
Let me be upfront honest here. This is an expensive product; I mean, a super expensive product. The reason I picked it up is I wanted a very good product for the eyes and also wanted to try the non-makeup range of Estee Lauder. Let’s address the elephant in the room, do these eye creams really work? The skin around the eyes is more fragile, more prone to dryness and quicker to show age and fatigue.
Squinting and constant movement of the eyes also hasten the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Plus, the fluids collect under the eyes and cause puffiness and dark circles. Eye creams can address some of these issues and I strongly believe a little care of oneself does no harm.
The product comes in a small glass tub packaging. The product is actually very, very less and the tub is small but then how much the eye area needs!? The tub is made of brown colored glass and has a shiny golden screw cap. Simple high-end elegant packaging. Lux! The cream is thicker and has a yellowish tinge to it. When I say thicker I am comparing it to the Clinique Eye Balm, which is lightweight too.
Though thicker, it melts into the skin like butter. It does not give me sticky feel after application and leaves a cooling effect. This really relaxes the eye and does not make eyelashes stick to each other or create irritation/uneasiness. The cream is pinkish yellowish in color and requires a just tiny bit to spread across the eye area.
It makes the skin around the eyes super hydrated. With continuous usage, it tends to decrease fine lines and dryness around the eyes; the puffiness around the eyes is also reduced. It can also be used under eye makeup just to make sure your eyes are well hydrated under the layers of makeup products.
