Hello darlings!
February is the month of love. Single ladies (like me) don’t frown, because there is no love as pure as self-love. So this month indulge into some self-pampering and don’t forget to love yourself.
Coming to the review, if you have read my previous post on Estee lauder bare glow pure colour high gloss, you would be knowing that I got GWP goodies since my final bill amount was as high as the sky 😉 So this duo eyeshadow palette was also a GWP 😀 read on to know if a full product should be purchased or not.
Price:
I got it as a GWP, however it is available to purchase for around $10.
What Estee lauder Pure Colour Eye shadow claims:
The new intensity in eye colour. Multi colours. Multi finishes. Brilliant new colours, silky new formula looks richer, wears longer, without creasing. Make a statement with one dramatic shade, lash to brow or play with pearl finishes. Now see your eyes take on a new brilliance.
My take on Estee Lauder Rose Confetti and Plum Pop Pure Color Eyeshadow Duo :
It is a palette of 2 eye shadows. One is rose confetti which is a sheer pink-like shade and other is plum pop which is plum in colour. Both the shades are chic and sexy. These eye shadows are so soft and velvety and perfect for everyday wear.
Rose Confetti: It’s a natural pink colour and can be used as a base or highlighter. Perfect for the go-neutral days or natural looks. The eye shadow is easy to blend and not much pigmented. Rose confetti has a subtle shimmer to it which looks chic and highlights the area it’s applied to.
Plum pop: Oh! I love the name plum pop. Such a fun name, much like its colour. Its shade can be compared to an eggplant’s colour. The consistency is so smooth and silky; it makes blending an easy task. It has a matte effect. It’s a buildable colour and can be worn for any occasion. Perfect to fetch your eyes the attention they deserve.
The packaging is quite nice. It has a black body and a slide plate where the shades sit. An eye shadow applicator is provided, but it is mini in size and therefore I use my eye shadow brush mostly with it. The applicator is just a normal one.
Both the shades are so gorgeous. They can be worn individually or together; either way they’ll look beautiful. One accentuates, and the other contours. Colour builds from subtle to high intensity. The stay power is appreciable. I usually use a primer under the eyes shadow so that they last even longer. Plum pop is perfect for winter days and rose confetti for everyday wear. Best thing about this shades being that they don’t crease which is a brownie point. These shades are sure to bring life to eyes.
