Today’s review will be on a primer by Estee Lauder that claims to correct the skin tone, give luminosity to the skin, and hydrate the skin. Anything that claims luminosity and hydration can convince me enough to buy it.
We call it visual skincare. You’ll call it amazing. This sheer lotion gives skin a healthy, even-toned glow you can see as soon as you put it on. Spotlight also works over time to tone down the appearance of discolorations so skin looks even and flawless. Micro-prisms give skin an instant underglow and even tone. Skin tone perfecting antioxidants and botanicals fade the appearance of discolourations and sun spots over time.
How To Use:
Apply over your nourisher. Follow with makeup, if desired. For optimal long term results, apply AM and PM, to fade discolourations and sun spots.
My Experience with Estee Lauder Spotlight Skin Tone Perfector:
Estee Lauder Spotlight comes housed in a white squeezy tube with a golden cap. The product is a bit runny which makes this packaging a bit inconvenient, the tube is always upside down, so you have to be very careful while opening it, otherwise the tube gets dirty.
Estee Lauder Spotlight is a pearlescent white liquid which when applied to the face adapts according to the skin tone. The texture of Estee Lauder Spotlight is soft and lightweight and gives a beautiful luminous finish to the skin. The consistency of this perfector is a little runny.
It quickly gets absorbed into the skin leaving a slight sheen on the face. After it dries, it feels a little sticky to the touch. This cannot be worn by itself since it feels a little sticky and tacky on the face. Foundation on top of this perfector goes on like a dream. This spotlight evens out skin tone,, reduces redness, blurs out pores, and feels moisturizing on the skin. I absolutely love this stuff but the only thing that bothers me is the scent, it’s quite perfumey and does not fade away.
Overall, this perfector gives a delicate glow, evens out skin tone, and blurs out any imperfections. The results will simply amaze you.
Pros of Estee Lauder Spotlight Skin Tone Perfector:
- Does what it claims.
- Add luminosity to the skin.
- Blurs out imperfections.
- Evens out skin tone.
- Foundation goes on like a dream.
Cons of Estee Lauder Spotlight Skin Tone Perfector:
- Scent is strong and doesn’t fade away.
- Feels sticky.
