Korean beauty products not only have great skincare products, they also have great makeup products too. Here, I am reviewing one of the famous products from Etude House. It is their Dear Darling water gel tint in PK003.

My Experience with Etude House Dear Darling Water Gel Tint PK003:
Etude House first came up with their water tint range which became popular and they followed it up with a gel tint. This shade is one of their later additions to this range. This product comes enclosed in a tall glass tube with a pink cap. The cap is attached to the doe foot applicator for easier application. Since the glass is transparent, you won’t get confused with shades if you own more from the same range. The texture of the tint is a mix between gel and water and it has a very sweet smell to it.
The application is easy with the applicator and you need very small amount of the product. If you apply too much, it will spread all around and since it stains super fast, you should certainly avoid going overboard with it.
After application, you will feel like as if you have applied fruit juice over your lips because it smells and feels like that. After application, it is advisable to wait for a minute or two for the product to dry. It dries but doesn’t dry out your lips. You won’t even feel that you are wearing a lip colour and that is the beauty of wearing lip tints.
After this lip tint has dried, it doesn’t smudge or transfer which is a huge bonus if you are planning to wear it daily, but once you have food, it starts to fade. Since it actually stains your lips, it never fades completely.
It takes two swipes with cleansing water to completely remove the tint. The colour of the product is a very mild mauvish pink which will suit all skin tones. If you are someone who doesn’t prefer a pink lipstick for daily wear, you can tone it down a little. For that what you have to do – apply very little product on your lips and with your fingers and start spreading it out till it forms a very mild MLBB colour. If applied directly as a lipstick, it stains to a dark pink colour and wouldn’t give the natural appearance a tint should impart you.
Overall, considering the price, this is an excellent lip product. The quantity given will last forever. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips, feels comfortable, and if you are someone with dry lips, you will feel that it hydrates lips too.

- If you apply a bit extra, it might get into the mouth.
- Have to wait until it dries or it will stain your teeth.
- It stains fast, so while using the fingers for application, expect your fingers to be pink stained.
- It comes in a breakable glass bottle.
