My Experience with Etude House Dear Darling Water Gel Tint Sweet Potato Red:
This lip tint comes packaged in a clear tube and a color-coded cap. The tint looks like a flower vase, which is cute. The doe-foot applicator is slender and has a curve in it, which makes it easier to apply it precisely on the lips.
This tint has a huge array of shades, like around nine variants. All the shades are named after “red” and most of the shades are very mild and muted. I chose the shade “Sweet Potato Red” which is a perfect sweet potato rose shade with mild red undertones. It is a beautiful shade, which gives the perfect rosey natural looking lips. I always use this tint whenever I need a more natural kind of pinky lips. The initial application of this product might make them look super vibrant, but after a while, it would be pretty natural on the lips. These have a tingling sensation on the lips when I apply each time, which I really hate.
The texture of this tint is watery and requires quite a few swipes to cover the entire lips, because of the watery consistency. These have medium pigmentation and pretty much look muted on the lips. It feels comfortable, lightweight and non-drying on the lips. They have average staying power, however they tend to fade after a meal and may require reapplication. The removal of this is not tedious and it comes off easily with makeup cleansing wipe.
Overall, this is an average lip tint. If you are after a muted more natural looking lip color, then you can give this a go. However, I am on the fence with this one, because of the tingling sensation it provides to my lips.
