Etude House Fig Purifying Sheet Mask Review

Hey Girlies!!

Wish you all a very Happy New Year! May you all have a rocking 2015 and all your wishes come true this year. Hope you all had a great 2014 and partied hard on New Year’s Eve. Coming to today’s review, I am back with another sheet mask from Etude House Alphabet range. I already have reviewed Pomegranate and Lemon before and found them good. Let us see how this one faired.

Etude House I need You Alphabet Sheet Mask

Product Description:

Etude House I Need You Alphabet Mask Sheet is a sheet mask for the face for instant and long lasting moisturizing. Each sheet of mask has an alphabet printed that is an abbreviation of the major ingredient contained in the mask. For example, A represents Aloe, B is Bulgarian Rose, C for Collagen, K for Korean Ginseng, V for Vitamin Complex and so on.

We have two type of packages, one for 8 mask sheets and the other one is for a full set of 27 sheets. For a package of 8 sheet, you will get a random mask and for a full set you will get all 27 masks from A to Z, plus one heart mask. Believe me you’ll get a real nice selection of mask sheets, since all masks are formulated with great ingredients.

How to use:

  1. Apply toner to skin after cleansing.
  2. Remove mask from pouch and apply to face, placing mask to fit eye and lip area
  3. Remove mask after 15~20 minutes and lightly massage remaining solution into skin with hands

My Experience with Etude House I Need You Alphabet Sheet Mask in Fig.

Staring with the packing, the mask comes sealed in a foiled sachet and the mask is super hydrated and full of serum. The mask can be really slippery to handle. Just like previous masks, this one too is full of serum, literally dripping with serum. So now what I do is, once my skin soaks up all the serum I apply leftover serum on the sheet (when it is still on my face) and let my skin drink more. I know it could be tiring and time consuming, but trust me it is worth, because the results were really amazing.

The mask smells very sweet like fruits, I personally do not like figs but this one smells nice. This mask is suitable for all skin types. Coming to its performance, this mask has fig extracts and is meant for purifying skin and making it clear. I am really not sure what the purifying claim means, but it definitely makes my skin clear. It would not clear out the impurities (like sebum), but it would make it visually clear and brighter.

Since I keep it for a good 1 hour on my face, my skin becomes really soft, after removing albeit it feels bit sticky. This makes your skin look clear and bright for some time (maybe a day or less) and does not really do anything for sebum or acne. But now I am so going to use these sheet masks the new way only, as even this variant worked with this method.
