Etude House Sun Prise Super Aqua Moisturiser SPF 45 Review

Hello my dear friends! May all if you stay blessed, Ameen.

IMBB is a total bundle of joy; let me prove logically.  You jump on your feet with excitement when your review is the first one to be up that morning; when Rati ji comments on your post, when a haul from IMBB pocket money is delivered at your door step (with products to be reviewed) or when you get exceptional appraisal for EOTD or lip swatch. You feel really joyous when the comments on your post reach double figure, when someone you have been missing on the community resumes back or when your photography is praised. You feel emotionally supported when you indirectly discuss your regrets, remorse and pains with the IMBB family and realize that everyone is standing by your side, no matter we have ever met or not.  For people like me, IMBB is not a hobby or a blog, it is a blessing, a diversion to my disappointment and stress.  Today’s product is a sun block moisturiser from Etude House. I picked up 3 products from them, one more to be reviewed still because I really liked them all to limits. Let’s explore this one together.

Etude House Moisturizer

Product Description:

Light textured UV Defense moisturizer protects skin with an invigorating sensation. Formulated with Mangosteen and lotus flower extracts for skin smoothening effects.

Price:

Around $7-$8 for 70 gm (varies from place to place) made in Korea.  I got for $7.

Packaging:

Etude House Sun Prise Super Aqua Moisturiser SPF 45 has a cute, summery packaging. The cream coloured plastic, squeezable tube is all yellow in colour with beach related prints like umbrella and cocktail glass . The moisturizer is has a nozzle, which always dispenses more than required amount for face, so I end up using it on arms and hands too. It is very light weight and travel-friendly packaging.

My Take on Etude House Sun Prise Super Aqua Moisturiser SPF 45:

The white sun block has a thick consistency but still feels very light weight and carries a gel like feeling when blended on skin. If the quantity of the product is not more than required, it takes no time in blending and attains natural finish with no visible whitish cast (very negligible whitish cast actually). When applied, initially it feels heavy, as if the skin can’t breathe, but the feeling vanishes in a few minutes.  After that,  it is extremely lightweight and non-greasy, just like you have washed your face and have put on nothing. It has a mild and pleasant fragrance. The moisturizer is infused with Mangosteen and Lotus Flower extracts and formulated without parabens.

Etude House Moisturizer

With the consistency between a cream and a gel, this one provides essential moisturization to the skin with SPF and without making the skin sticky, greasy and oily.  While staying indoors, I observed no oil on my t-zone for 4-5 hours and it is really good for my combination skin. My t-zone gets shiny in no time in humid and hot climate. If you roam outdoors all the time, the t-zone might develop shine in average 2-3 hours, with climate and skin type affecting this time. This sun block is suitable for face, skin and every part you want to moisturize and protect from sun exposure. This product hasn’t broken me out or clogged pores; so is suitable for all skin types.
