I recently decided to change one of my facial cleansers. I saw this in the store and since I have never tried this brand before, I thought I should. Here’s my thoughts on it. Enjoy! 🙂

My Take on Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Refreshing Cleansing Gel:

To start off, it’s got a gel-like texture and I would say it leans more towards the firm side rather than being watery, which means easy and not messy during application.  This doesn’t have a cooling effect when applied to the skin, but it does feel smooth on skin. It feels lightweight and easy to spread on the skin.

I would say it foams up well when you use your palms to cleanse your face and foams up like crazy if you are using a cleansing device. It removes my makeup well too and doesn’t sting my eyes. It’s easy to wash off and after doing so, my skin feels refreshed, soft, supple and ready for some intense hydration.

This product does offer some hydration for my skin and after use, my skin doesn’t feel dry, irritated or stimulated. However it doesn’t help much with dry patches, fine lines or pimples. So far after using this, I have had no breakouts, red spots and etc.  I use this at the end of my day and it does well to calm my skin after a day full of makeup and it’s gentle on my skin. Also, I find that after using this, my face feels fresher, cleaner and my pores don’t feel clogged or weird.

Clearing this out, it doesn’t have any fragrance.  It’s suitable for sensitive skin too and I find that this doesn’t dry out my skin nor does it cause my oily T zone to produce more oil.

Packaging wise, it’s ideal for travelling as it’s not too big or too small. Plus, the lid is pretty hygienic. It’s a press to open and close sort of lid. It will be able to keep out bacteria and other germs from contaminating the product and it’s pretty sturdy too and we all know what that means, no messes!

• Doesn’t have a cooling effect.
• Doesn’t help with dry patches, fine lines and pimples.

Would I Repurchase Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Refreshing Cleansing Gel?

I actually would. This has been pretty good to my skin and it’s been a pleasure to use.  A few cons here and there, but it’s still a pretty good product.
