Today, I will be sharing my experience with Eucerin Gentle Hydrating Cleanser, which has proven to be a savior for my skin when it was going through a really bad phase. I have always felt so blessed to have facial skin with no problems because I have normal skin that requires minimal care. Having said that, post-partum side effects had made my skin suffer, it had become very dry, sensitive and flaky. I had no clue on how to deal with this problem.
Eucerin Gentle Hydrating Cleanser gently cleanses without irritating even dry, sensitive skin. Creates a moisture-rich lather that leaves skin feeling soft and clean. Rinses away easily, leaving skin refreshed and free of soapy residue. Soap-free, fragrance-free, non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores).
How To Use:
For best results, use every time you cleanser. Dispense a generous amount of cleanser and gently massage over face and neck.
$4.76 for 8 oz.
My Experience with Eucerin Gentle Hydrating Cleanser:
After a few weeks of my baby’s delivery, I remember the day when I had applied my favorite face mask. I could not believe that the face pack that I had been using for the past few years would cause such horrible redness and itching on my skin. My face felt tight and sensitive and for the very first time, I experienced rough, flaky patches. The face wash I trusted most would leave my skin dry and blistered, and then I realized how my body had changed completely after childbirth.
So, that’s when I decided to alter my skin care products and picked up this cleanser from Eucerin. I had heard about their products for dry skin and wanted to try it out. To my delight, the cleanser suited me without any issue. For months, I have been using only this cleanser and Cetaphil cream on my face. The condition of my skin improved and I got back my pre-pregnancy skin texture. It’s amazing how this product saved my skin from all that dryness.
The product comes in a pump bottle and the texture of this cleanser is not so thick. Although, I have never faced any problems with its consistency. After application, it gives a clean feel to my skin. I really like the fact that it is fragrance free and does not clog pores.
However, the packaging is not travel friendly. After using it for a few weeks, I felt a drastic change in my skin’s condition, it was getting back to its normal state *yay*.
Summing up the pros and cons:
Pros of Eucerin Gentle Hydrating Cleanser:
- Does what it claims.
- Perfect for dry skin.
- Soap free.
- Does not have any fragrance.
- Fragrance free.
Cons of Eucerin Gentle Hydrating Cleanser:
- Not a travel-friendly packaging.
I like scented creams/moisturizers, so would have loved if this cleanser had some fragrance. Choosing a product for facial skin has never bothered me because my skin is not problematic. With its non-soapy texture, it doesn’t leave my skin dry and soothes my skin.
