Eva Fresh Lips Fresh Mint Moisturising Lip Balm Review

Hello girls!

By now you’ll must have got an idea about how I shop :p If I like something, then I try to pick up as many similar products as possible. This is the first time I’m using Eva products, so today, I’m going to be reviewing Eva Fresh Lips Fresh Mint Moisturising Lip Balm. I bought four of these new launched lip balms i.e. Fresh Mint, Rose, Strawberry and Litchi. Let’s get started with Fresh Mint’s review!

My Experience with Eva Fresh Lips Fresh Mint Moisturising Lip Balm:

Packaging: Fresh Mint lip balm comes in a nice ice-blue coloured body. The cardboard has many details printed and so does the plastic packaging of this lip balm. The plastic body is quite sturdy. The packaging is simple and sweet, I wouldn’t call it cute though! But, it’s good enough and travel friendly, like most of the lip balms.

Colour: This lip balm is transparent in colour, which was very obvious considering that it’s a Mint flavoured lip balm. It gives the lips a nice sheen. It doesn’t impart a white cast on the lips, which I am thankful for! Also, when you apply the lip balm, you get a little tingling feeling on your lips. It lasts only for a minute or so, but you can feel a subtle minty-ness around your lips. I like that feeling. It feels the same when you consume a mint drop and drink water- tingly-minty-coolness!

Texture: The texture of this lip balm is very smooth. It’s not too thick, nor too thin. I like the texture as it glides on evenly like my Baby Lips. It isn’t hard or tugs or pulls on the lips. It provides enough moisture while its on the lips. Your lips do not feel dry. But, it isn’t hydrating!

Staying Power: The staying power is pretty average. Stays on for 2.5 – 3 hours. It fades when you sip on something/eat something. Reapplication is a must after that.

Smell/Taste: I’m in love with how this lip balm smells! It’s sweet and minty, just like a mint candy! It’s not too strong, but neither is it light. It’s just perfect. As soon as you open the cap-thing, you get the sweet-mint fragrance of this lip balm, but when you apply it on your lips, the smell is gone. So sensitive noses won’t have any problem with the fragrance. It doesn’t taste like anything though.

Final Verdict:

As far as I remember, this is the first time I’ve owned a mint flavoured lip balm and I do not regret it. It’s very unique to me and a decent lip balm for just 110 bucks! The smell is very yummy, the lip balm provides enough moisture for 2-3 hours and doesn’t leave a white cast on your lips! It’s a good buy for lip balm hoarders, and a decent one for the non-hoarders. At least, you wouldn’t regret buying this one!

  1. You know Priyanka, your review of these 4 lip balms reminded me of the time when I had purchased 4 of lakme’s crease-less balms. Boy! It was a nightmare. They were expensive and very bad. At least yours cost less, and are still of a bit better quality wise than those Lakme balms. I still cringe to think of those. 🙁

    1. Hehe yes Kads, I remember reading your reviews and feeling bad for you burning a big hole in your pocket! 🙁 Since then I decided to play safe and invest my pocket money on less pricey cosmetics; atleast I wont regret it if it turned out to be like these lip balms! :p
