Eva Glee Peppy Fruity All Day Long Freshness Deo Review
Deodorants are absolute must-haves especially during summers. With all the sweating and perspiration that you have to put up with, spraying your favorite bottle of perfumed deo lavishly becomes a necessity for the sake of maintaining freshness throughout the day! Today, I am going to review a deo spray that I purchased last summer, namely, the Eva Glee Deo that promises “Peepy Fruity All Day Long Freshness.”

Rs. 99 for 125 ml.
Shelf Life:
Best when used before two years.
What Does the Product Claim?
The Eva range of alcohol-free deos is gentle and perfect for everyday use. Its moisturizing formula keeps your underarms soft and smooth. Eva contains Triclosan that effectively prevents body odour; so, you can stay fresh all-day long.
Usage (as mentioned on the bottle):
Shake well. Hold the can 15 cm away from the body and spray in areas you perspire. Use after bath everyday.
Caution:
The deo bottle says that it is a “pressurized container. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperature exceeding 50˚C. Do not spray on naked flame or any incandescent material. Keep out of reach of children. Do not spray into eyes. Use only as directed.’ It is ‘harmful if taken internally.’ It is ‘extremely inflammable.”
Ingredients:
It contains Butane, Isobutene, Propane, Silicone Fluid, Fragrance, Isopropyl Myristate, Butylated Hydroxytoluene and Triclosan.
My Experience with Eva Glee Deo:
I was at first attracted towards the bright yellow color of the deodorant bottle. The color is somewhere between lemon yellow and golden yellow. The shape of the bottle is cylindrical, just like any other deodorant bottle. It comes in the spray from with a press button. The transparent yellow-colored cap is semi-circular in shape. The button is easy to press and the bottle is quite handy. Indeed, the vibrant bottle is ‘peppy’ and ‘fruity’ to look at! When I sprayed the deo, I found that the fragrance was also quite ‘peppy’ and ‘fruity’; I feel it smells predominantly like tangy lemon with a slight note of sweet apples. It did not produce any tingling sensation or irritation of any kind when I sprayed it on my body. However, I found that after sometime, the fragrance started fading and the staying power is also small. That is why, it might be good for winter months when one does not sweat much; for summer season it is not a very wise choice. Though body odor was absent, somehow, the fresh feeling is not long lasting. That is why, after using it for five or six times, I have stored it for use during the cooler months.
Pros of Eva Glee Deo:
• The price is quite affordable at Rs 99 for 125 ml.
• All the details like usage, list of ingredients, caution areas and such other aspects are given on the container.
• It did not produce any irritation or rashes after application.
• It is not tested on animals.
• It is ozone-friendly.
• The smell is sprightly.
• The bottle is convenient to use and is travel friendly.
• Ingredients like Isopropyl Myristate and Isobutene are not considered harmful in deos.
• It is alcohol-free and is known to be very skin friendly.
Cons of Eva Glee Deo:
• Ingredients like Triclosan and Butylated Hydroxytoluene are controversial on safety grounds; they may not be good for skin as they have potential to cause skin irritations. So, it might not be “skin-friendly” for those who are sensitive to these elements.
• Since the staying power of the deo is little, it does not live up to the promise of imparting “fresh all-day long” feeling. The fragrance fades within two or three hours of application.
Would I Purchase It Again?
Though it has quite a few pros, I think everything is immaterial when it does not meet the basic demand. If a deo fails to impart the much-desired freshness and thus, makes you prone to body-odour, I do not think, it is worth the money. I would like to buy Eva Glee Deo in future.

Yes, Eva is better for winter or for less sweaty conditions. Spraying some on your clothes would make it longer. I have tried this deo and it makes one feel very young..has this youthful energy to it. 🙂
ya..the fragrance is good but just the staying power is too small 🙁
I hav used 2 Eva deos in the past,one was the “sweet” one n d other was a blue one,whose name I cant recollect at the moment.Both wer nice,fragrance wise,bt had the same problem-less stayin power.I then switched to Nike women deo n I quite liked it.
