Eva Lip Drench Lip Balm Orange

This winter I just picked up lip balms randomly from everywhere that I saw them, right from online shopping sites to Food Bazaar and even some from the local pharmacy.  Eva Lip Drench is the one that I picked up from the pharmacy.  Eva has a very famous line of deos and this collection of lip balm is from them too, maybe these are winter specials from the company.  At the pharmacy, I saw that these came in four flavours, Green Apple, Strawberry, Classic, and Orange.  I picked up the Orange flavour.  Here’s the review.

Eva Lip Balm Orange

Key Ingredients:
Liquid Paraffin, Beewax, Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E), Apricot Kernel Oil.

Directions For Use:
Squeeze the tube from the bottom and glide the applicator directly on lips. Apply in sufficient quantity whenever required.

Eva Lip Drench is available in four flavours, Strawberry, Green Apple, Orange, and Classic Variants.

Price:
Dirt cheap at Rs. 25 per tube, so in Rs. 100, you can buy all the variants.

My Take on Eva Lip Drench Lip Balm – Orange:

I just glanced through the ingredients list and realized that they have not mentioned any artificial flavour that they might have added.  The lip balm does have a very light sweet taste to it and I don’t really think it is due to the apricot kernel oil in it.  To give credit to the lip balm, it is very light and not overtly sticky like the Nivea balms, but the downside is that it doesn’t stay for long, a few minutes is all that it takes for it to disappear, but then, I don’t really think any lip balm would last for hours, at least, I haven’t used any such lip balm.  Eva lip balm smells very sweetly and lightly of orange and the smell does not linger.  I think it is a pretty good lip balm for the price that you pay.  If you are a person who just stocks up lip balms, then you can just give it a try.

Summing up the pros and cons:

Pros of Eva Lip Drench Lip Balm Orange:

  • Not overtly sticky.
  • Moisturizes dry lips.
  • Comes at a dirt cheap price.
  • Doesn’t dry out lips.
  • Tastes sweet, I don’t really know whether it is because of an artificial flavour or due to the apricot kernel oil in it.

Cons of Eva Lip Drench Lip Balm – Orange:

  • Doesn’t last long, it vanishes within minutes.

Will I Repurchase Eva Lip Drench Lip Balm – Orange?

The winters are almost over at my place, so I don’t think I would get any lip balm now, I have already stocked up a lot!!!!

Do I Recommend Eva Lip Drench Lip Balm Orange?

If you want to try, 25 rupees is not too much.

IMBB Rating:
Taking into consideration the price and the fact that it is almost like any other lip balm, 4/5.
