Everyuth Fairness Face Wash Review

How’s everyone doing? I have been using the EverYuth walnut and apricot scrub since 10 years now. The scrub is so good, so I had huge expectations from this face wash. This review is about the Everyuth Fairness Face Wash which was earlier known as EverYuth Derma Care Light and Clear Face Wash (sigh, such a big name, good they changed it). Anyway, I bought this because it contains Kojic Acid, which is a very effective skin lightening agent.

My skin type is combination (oily to normal).

Packaging:

Small, white plastic tube with flip cap, sturdy, and travel friendly.

Consistency:

Brown colored, not too runny gel with mili capsules and not scrub particles.

Fragrance:

The fragrance is light but kind of fake. Can’t exactly describe it, but it does not linger for long.

Key Ingredients:

Kojic Acid Extract and Saffron Extracts (Mulethi).

What is Kojic Acid and its Benefits:

It is a very effective agent used for skin colour and bleaching. It inhibits melanin production and has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It’s actually used when people want a skin tone lighter that their original colour.

Directions For Use:

Wet your face. Squeeze out a small quantity of the product onto your palm. Crush mili capsules and gently massage on the face. Rinse with water and pat skin dry.

My Experience with Everyuth Fairness Face Wash:

Let me tell you why I was drawn to this particular face wash. It contains two types of mili capsules of kojic acid and saffron. I am always on the lookout for products containing Kojic Acid, Glycolic and Salicylic acid because I know they are recommended by dermatologists for problem skin and they actually works. So, I wanted to test the fairness claim. EverYuth Fairness Face Wash has a medium to low lather. It has white and red colour mili capsules. You have to crush the mili capsules and then apply it. It didn’t lather much the first time. So, I took more quantity, the second time, and still it didn’t lather much.

After patting my face dry, I noticed that the oil on my nose was still there. Immediately, I washed my face again with the same face wash and still my nose looked and felt oily. I had come back home after being out the whole day. However, I was still so reluctant to make it work for me. So, I tried it again when I was sitting in my air conditioned office. There wasn’t much dirt and grime on my face compared to earlier and this time it did work and my face felt cleaner. Also, I did notice that my spots got lighter with every wash. However, I feel this face wash would be great for dry and very dry skin. This face wash might also work on normal skin, but if you are looking at deep cleaning to remove oil, dirt and other impurities, skip this one. Those with very sensitive skin may still develop redness or itching from Kojic acid. Even though the face wash contains kojic acid in small proportions, use at your own risk.
