Skin type: combination
It’s been so long since I last bought or reviewed a face pack. I do prefer homemade face packs but sometimes, when I’m bored or run out of ingredients, I do like to try out readymade face packs. This one seemed to be a good option, hence I picked this face pack up. Let’s get to know how it fared for me!
Price: INR 20 for 25 gm
Product Description: Layer your skin with Everyuth Naturals Haldi Chandan Face Pack. Haldi deep cleanses while Chandan makes your skin visibly fairer. Grandma’s tips never grow old!
My Experience with Everyuth Naturals Haldi Chandan Face Pack:
This face pack comes in a typical Everyuth packaging. It comes in a blue outer cardboard box with details at the back. The actual face pack comes in an aluminium coated plastic bag. There isn’t much printed on the bag, but that’s fine with me. The face pack is actually in powder form, which is really awesome because it makes storage easier and it gives you the option to mix it with anything you prefer: water, milk, honey, rose water etc.
The powder is slightly off white in colour and is lumpy. So I sift it before adding in the wet ingredient because it makes it much easier to combine into a smooth, lump-free paste. It has a slight sandalwood fragrance – not too overpowering and barely noticeable. The powder gets mixed up pretty easily to form a nice paste. Again, you can add in as much liquid or as a little liquid to the face pack, which is one more plus. If I use it as a face and neck mask, I’ll usually make the pack a bit thicker. But if I want to use it on my body then I can make it thinner.
The face pack goes on smoothly on the face and dries up in 15 minutes (it again depends on how thick or thin you make the face pack). I wash it off with lukewarm water and my face feels fresh and soft. I have not noticed any difference in my complexion. My face does feel clean but the pack doesn’t remove any impurities like blackheads or whiteheads. Overall, I like how this face pack works and, at such a price, it’s a total steal! I’ve had face masks that were about 10 times more expensive but did not work for me at all. In comparison, this is a great buy as it won’t pinch your pocket a bit!
