My Experience at Sephora India (Delhi)

sephora india delhi

So finally I went to Sephora Delhi. OMGGGGGGG!!! Girls, you have to go there to believe how insanely huge and out of the world it is. It’s like sabzi mandi of makeup. lol!!! Β You enter there and you get confused about what all you want to pick. You suddenly get greedy and wat to pick up zillion things. Then you realize, oh! Sephora is here to stay and you can come back and repurchase the stuff. πŸ˜›

Now the brands that are there – Burt’s Bees, Sephora, MUFE (yet to come) , Benefit, Forest Essentials, Soap and Glory, NYX (lots of NYX πŸ˜› ), Stila, Dior, Guerlain, Shiseido, Oscar Blandi, The Face Shop , tons of perfume brands for men and women, Crabtree and Evelyn..umm hope I am not forgetting others. They are not sure whether Urban Decay would be coming or not.

What I wasn’t too impressed were the prices. Everything is super expensive as compared to the prices that you’d pay if you pick them from abroad.

I think they’d still need more time to settle down. First is that they’d need more staff. They are still making bills with pen and paper.

But I LOVED it. It’s like makeup lovers dream come true. πŸ™‚

I also happen to meet a very sweet IMBB reader. She came up and said Hi to me. both of us were super excited about our Sephora purchases. hihih

It was all in all a good day. πŸ™‚

Stila Convertible Color in Petunia(Rs 1600) : it is a dual lip and cheek cream

Burt’s Bees Lip Balm with Pink Grapefruit (Rs 400): Review HEREΒ Don’t think I’d be repurchasing this. Insane price for a lip balm. But I had to use it once. πŸ˜›

I just picked up what I liked and got out of there. πŸ˜› S&G products are more or less similarly priced as the crabtree and evelyn – mid high range. But this hand cream smells sooo good. Loving it!

  19. rati di that first pic tho is letting me swwon and swoon again! i have never seen so much cosmetics in one place! i just wish they were priced just as much as the sabzi mandis!

  20. So excited to hear about this new opening!!! I work at the Sephora Head quarter store in Toronto. Glad to hear of the great reception!!! I can’t wait to visit the Delhi location!

    1. As for the pricing… it’s about the same we pay in Canada… Benefit High Beam at Rs 1860 works out to about $33.22 Canadian and the price for High Beam in Canada is about $30 CAD plus our insane taxes at 13% which works out to $33.90. I will say though… the products are quality so you are paying for excellence.. Enjoy ladies!!! <3

  21. Well i was waiting for sephora to open in india for quite some time
There is a price difference in quite a few things and also they do not have all the variety and collection as one may find abroad. However so far so good i am just happy sephora is here. Hope they get and updaye their stock soon
However i was disappointed a little as The staff isnt very friendly and they dont respond well to queries even when the store is not crowded

  22. Sephora India is Selling Burt Bee’s? That’s like a super market organic section and drugstore brand here in the US and its so expensive there. I pay 2.99 on sale for the balm and max 3.99 regular. I thought they see the same brands across all markets. Shall visit it on my next India trip. UD is an awesome brand and so is NARS…I hope they carry that eventually. NYC and NYX is another surprise. How are the SA’s there? Here if you tell them you are just browsing they leave you in peace to browse all day if you want
