This brand is yet another new addition to my makeup kitty. I was very happy to try it out because it performed really well for a felt tip eyeliner and my past experience with products of this genre has not been very pleasant. Keep on reading to know why I am so happy with this product.

My Take on Eyeko London Fat Black Liquid Eyeliner:

This is the third felt tip eyeliner I have ever used – the first one was Maybelline Colossal felt tip eye liner and the second one an eyeliner from Jordana. I had a good experience with the former and a not-so-good one with the latter. Hence, I was a bit skeptical to use it, but one swatch of this eyeliner erased all my doubts.

Packaging:  It’s like a thick marker pen, the kind we use on white board with a felt tip which is very smooth and does not have a rough sponge-like texture. It glides with equal ease on both tough skin of the wrist and delicate skin of eyelids.

Color: One swatch gives an intense black color which can be intensified further with a few more swatches.

Pigmentation:  The other felt tip liners that I have used in the past don’t work when the tip is placed perpendicular to the skin and have to be applied at an angle, but the Eyeko eyeliner can be used upright to get a thin, precise line or at an angle to get a thicker and bolder line. Irrespective of how it is applied, it gives an equally good pigmentation and color pay off.

Shimmer and Shine:  No shimmer and shine; it gives a matte finish.

Staying Power:  This product is waterproof, sweat proof and tear proof and gives an impressive wear time. The line drawn by this liner stays almost crisp and precise till the end of the day and can be removed with ease at the end of the day.

This product is really amazing and one of its kind in felt tip liner genre. It is thick but can be used to make lines of varying thickness and is perfect to make winged lines, which I struggle to make on most of the days. It is a bit on the expensive side compared to regular drugstore eyeliners, but is worth eye penny and gives a more appreciable performance.

Yes, because it is good value for money and has made it easier for me to apply winged eyeliner. I recommend it to all the readers who love felt tip liners for their user-friendly functionality.
