How To Make Your Own Eyeshadow
Hey Ladies,
This is probably the most requested tutorial so far and here it is! I apologize that it took me so long, but better late than never, right π It is very easy and simple to make your own eyeshadow, you just need all the tools. I will explain everything for you in this article.
Products You Need To Make Eyeshadow:
- Gloves.
- Napkins.
- Two empty pans.
- Rubbing alcohol.
- Binder.
- Plastic spatula.
- Loose pigment.
- Empty plastic container.
Step 1:
I first disinfect the empty pan that I use to press the eyeshadow in. Β One drop of rubbing alcohol is all I need to disinfect the pan. You just let it sit there till the alcohol disappears.
Step 2:
I fill 1/3rd of the empty plastic container I have with the loose pigment. This is exactly how much I need for a 26 mm eyeshadow pan.
Step 3:
Now, I take my rubbing alcohol and put a few drops in the plastic container. I have to be very careful not to put a lot of alcohol in the container because the consistency of the eyeshadow once you mix it with the liquid has to be thick and not watery. Once I think I have put enough alcohol in the container, I add a few drops of the binder in the container as well.
Step 4:
Itβs mixing time. I take my plastic spatula and mix everything.
Step 5:
Once I mix everything, I take the spatula and get all the mixed product out of the container into the empty disinfected eyeshadow pan.
Step 6:
I pick up the pan with the thick product in it and drop it on the table. That will flatten the top and get rid off all the clumps on the top of the pan.
Step 7:
I usually let it dry for a few minutes and then take a coin, rub it in napkins and press this coin on top of the eyeshadow I just created or I just let the eyeshadow dry by itself.
I hope this was helpful to all the ones who were curious to know how to make your own eyeshadow.
Take care everyone <3
