Fab Bag April 2014

So, it’s that time of the month when all of us would have received our goodie bag from Fab Bag.  I am very happy with my April Fab Bag.  To begin with, the idea of sending in the goodies in cute pouches (they change the pouch design every month) is super cool! This way, you get to collect nice makeup pouches to store different stuff.  Since the pouches are quite spacious, you can store a whole lot of stuff in there.  You might be eager to find out what I received this time in my bag, here you go:

It’s a very good product, comes to your help when you want to do pedicure in a jiffy!  Smells good, works well, and helps me to maintain my feet in a good condition.  Summer is at it’s peak and Sally Hansen Pedicure is the kind of treat you would want to give your feet, I am loving it!

2.  Za True White Day Cream (sample product)

Price:  Rs. 999 for full sized product.

Developed by leading Japanese skin scientists, this advanced day cream is formulated with effective whitening ingredients that deliver extraordinary and radiant results.  I am interested to try this out since it’s a day cream developed by Japanese skin care experts and has SPF 20 too.  This day cream contains vitamin C complex, natural SPA ingredients and white lily extracts.  Will decide on the full-sized version after I finish this small sample tube.

3.  I Love Mango Face Mask:

This face pack has one of my favorite fruits – mango.  It deep cleans, refreshes skin and removes dead skin cells. It has the fruit extracts of mango and cucumber – sounds cool for summers, right?  I want more sachets of this one!

4.  Beauty UK Blush and Brush (Full sized product provided in Fab Bag):

I am “the” most excited about this one.  It’s a beautiful, pretty, gorgeous blush.  The shade that I have received is “Isla Rose” and you have to see it to believe how pretty it is! This one single product is totally worth the money you spend on the Fab Bag.  It’s easy to blend, doesn’t look chalky, and would look great on all skin tones.

I super happy with my Fab Bag!!! If they had just given the blush and the face mask, I would still have been happy, but the fact is that there are a total of 4 great products provided at a reasonable price of Rs. 599 – totally worth it!

Also, there’s a renewal coupon and a coupon code of 20% off on purchase of full-sized product from the April bag that’s been provided in the bag.

Jomol, looking forward to you review on the Za cream *haan ji*

  6. I guess I’m not as thrilled with the range this time – the only thing I’m really happy with is the Pedicure in a Minute. I mean, I don’t like peel off masks, and I got coconut, and the smell was too much for me. I also am on a pretty tight skin-care regimen, so I’m not sure I want to try the Za product (also anything that is called “whitening” puts me off. Stay DARK, people!).

And! I don’t wear pink blushes. They don’t look right on my sallow skin tones, so I modtly go for peaches and earth shades. And FabBag *knows* I don’t want pink, since I
ve told them, both in that questionnaire and in the feedback.

So April was a bust for me. I don’t think I’ll resub. I loved the pouch, though! Lovely.
