Hi Everyone, 🙂
Hope all of you must be enjoying goodies of you Fab Bag by now. 🙂 Here’s my review of the pretty sparkly blue bag that was based on a Diwali theme.
Honestly, I was not super excited when I saw the contents of the bag. The unfamiliarity with the products made me a little uncomfortable. But as I started using the products I realised that the bag was full of skincare goodies. The more I have used the products, the more my skin tends to like them. All the skincare from this bag is travelling with me soon. 🙂

Here are my mini reviews of the products starting from my most favourite to least favourite.
Just Herbs Kit for Normal to Dry Skin : There are 6 products in the kit that are listed step by step as a full regimen for your skin care needs. All the products in this kit are paraben and sulphate free.
Step 1 Facewash : It is a neem face wash with ingredients such as bitter orange peel extract, aloe vera leaf juice , sandalwood extract, cucumber, honey etc. It smells sooo refreshing and leaves skin clean without drying out the skin. A super gentle everyday face wash. Loved.
Step 2 Apricot Scrub : It is a cream based apricot and walnut scrub. This also has very good ingredients such as sunflower seed oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, aloe vera leaf juice etc. It is gentle on skin and gets rid of dead skin. leaves skin clean an d refreshed. Also it cleanses of easily without leaving any residue behind.
Step 3 Skin Lightening Cream : It is basically an everyday moisturiser. This basically has liquorice that helps in skin whitening / brightening. The first ingredient listed is fumittory, which is an ayurvedic herb and helps in treatment of eczema and acne. Some other ingredients are jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, aloe vera leaf juice, cucumber, avocado oil etc. It turned out to be a veryyy good everyday cream and has a lovely earthy smell to it. It keeps skin hydrated and moisturised all day long. Can’t really claim about its skin lightening claims because I believe you would have to use it quite long to see the benefits.
Step 4 Protein Face Pack with Mulethi, Milk and honey : It is a clay pack and I absolutely looooved it. It leaves skin tightened, clean and refreshed. It dries up completely within 10-15 minutes and you can wash it off. The only problem is that it is a little difficult to spread. Dilute it with water and it is good to go. You have to use it twice a day.
Step 5 Jojoba Grapeseed Sun protection Lotion : The least favourite of the 6. The packaging is a pain. The product is thick as cream and it is packaged in a bottle so you literally have to scoop out the product. Gross! 😛 Plus it does not state any SPF value so I really can’t trust this as my everyday sunscreen. But otherwise it smells really nice, gets absorbed easily and does not leave any whitish cast behind. Also does not make your skin oily.
Step 6 Night time Massage Cream : It is free of mineral oil and Parabens. It is a night time massage cream that you have to follow up by towel steam and a face pack. I find it a little tedious to do every night so sometimes I just slather it on and it keeps my skin hydrated and moist. It smells really soothing. 🙂
I just feel that this kit should have included a good under eye cream as well. Overall, I think Just Herb products are BRILLIANT. I am going to try more products from the brand.
Seasoul Minerals HD CC Cream : I have used a couple of dead sea products that I picked up during my Jordan trip. So I was looking forward to using this CC cream. It gives a suuupper natural finish.Something that you can use everyday and it would even out your skin tone. The coverage is sheer and it gives slightly dewy finish. I find that you definitely have to powder your skin after using it. It has that little shine. A good one but I have used better ones before.
The Nature’s Co Irish Moss Sugar Body Scrub : As much as I loved the citrusy smell of this product, I absolutely hated it. It literally gave me scratches on my arms and my arms were on fire after using this. The sugar granules used in this product are so harsh that they take ages to melt in the skin. So you are torturing your skin with harsh granules. We have a very good review of this product on IMBB HERE so I don’t know if the product in the sample jar had issues. Not daring to use it again.
Overall, I don’t think this is one of their best bag they have put across. I think they have out across better bags with better and more exciting products before. The Just Herbs kit was just too good and worth giving a shot.
