Hello, beautiful ladies!
As I write this, my heart sings, “Ladki beautiful kargai chul…” I watched “Badrinath key Dulhania” yesterday and simply loved it. Alia Bhatt has always been my favorite, and I must say that I liked her so much in this movie. Moving on to the review, a few days ago, I had a huge haul at Fabindia and was attracted to the green tea range and picked up a few products. Along with the Fab India Green Tea Body Wash, I picked up the Green Tea Face Wash. Let me share my experience of the same with you.
Price: Rs 290 for 100ml
Directions for use: Gently work up lather with a circular motion on wet face. Wash off and pat dry. Avoid contact with eyes.
Exfoliating & Anti – Oxidant
Made with green tea extracts, this facewash helps to remove impurities, keeps skin hydrated & give your skin a nice healthy glow.
My Experience with Fabindia Green Tea Face Wash:
Fabindia has changed the packaging of all its products. Well, now, most of the products come in opaque white plastic packaging with the logo appearing in a nice bronze golden shade. While some of them look attractive, the others do look boring. Fabindia Green Tea Face Wash comes in a wide tube packaging with a flip cap. For some reason, the width always gives a feeling that there is a huge quantity of the product in it. Also, the flip caps are the best as they are super practical and saves time. Plus, there is no leakage.
The Fabindia Green Tea Face Wash is of brown color with a mildly sweet fragrance. It has a lotion type consistency, which is a bit runny in nature. Though the opening of the tube is small, since the width of the cap is large, the product being runny causes a lot of wastage while trying to pour out. A small width of the cap would have worked better here, to avoid the product mess. Hence, to avoid this mess, I have poured a small quantity of the product into a 10ml transparent empty bottle of Johnson’s Baby Shampoo for now.
The face wash, when applied on the moist face in circular motion, spreads well to clean. However, there is not much of a lather, which I feel is good. For some reason, I have a feeling that the products which lather too much render the skin dry.
My skin feels soft, supple and squeaky clean after using this face wash. While I did feel a bit of stretchiness for about 5 mins after the wash, my skin behaved absolutely fine after that. I tried not to apply any moisturizer for about an hour, still, I felt my skin behaved completely fine and there were no signs of any dryness or patchiness. The face wash is good, otherwise and is worth a try. Also, it is priced decently and is available across all the Fabindia stores now.
Pros of Fabindia Green Tea Face Wash:
• Mild face wash suitable for all skin types
• Mild soothing fragrance
• Skin feels clean, soft and supple
• Does not make the skin dry
• Has 2 years of shelf life
• Easily available
Cons of Fabindia Green Tea Face Wash:
• Packaging is not apt for the consistency of the face wash
