FabIndia Honey & Frankincense Face Wash

fabindia honey frankincense facewash
I am back again with another product review from FabIndia… 🙂 Definitely one of my favorite brands. Actually FabIndia has never ever failed me till date. I am always in love with the products more and more after use. But this time something happened which was totally unexpected. Went to Fab India to buy some soap and face washes as I was running out of stock. I was so tired shopping here and there and also the store was nearing the closing time so I bought some things in a jiffy. This face wash was one of them as this was meant for dry skin and I did not notice this at the store itself. When I came home I even used it. After using it for 2-3 times I realized that this is not doing the well expected job. That made me read the information given on the tube. I then came to know that I have done a mistake. Please read more to find out what it said.

What the company claims about the product?

My Experience with FabIndia Honey & Frankincense Face Wash

This was my first face wash from Fab India and I could not get the required benefit from it. Still I would mention a few things which are worth noting. First thing is the smell which gained my maximum attention. It smells like Ezee Liquid detergent. This smell could be over the top for sensitive noses but I quite like it because during my childhood I was very fond of the smell which came from my woolen garments washed with Ezee..  The face wash is of runny consistency and you might end up taking out more than required. The gel is of clear consistency. A normal coin sized amount produces sufficient lather to cover the whole face. It does remove the dirt and oiliness from my skin effectively but does not give me that squeaky clean feeling that the face washes which I have used in past gave me. May be I felt that because I was using the thing not meant and formulated for me. Now summing up everything in terms of

Pros of FabIndia Honey & Frankincense Face Wash

Contains honey extracts
Contains the goodness of an essential oil-Frankincense Oil
Mild pleasant fragrance
Inexpensive
Not tested on animals

Cons of FabIndia Honey & Frankincense Face Wash

The face wash is ideal for dry skin and I have an oily skin so this does not bring that squeaky cleanliness to my skin. Again, this is my mistake that I opted for a wrong product not meant for my skin.
Contains SLS but again this is very common thing in cleaning products now a days.

Finally, I would not buy this face wash again as this is not meant for oily skinned people. Dry skin people may be hopefully benefitted from this face wash as the Fab India products which I have used till date specifically meant for my skin type have never failed me, the best instances being Papaya Scrub, Neem and Tulsi face and body gel scrub and Aloe vera and cucumber gel face pack.
