Hey beautiful girls,
Happy happy new year to each and everyone here at IMBB! A new year is here, with new hopes, new opportunities and yes, new products to try. 😛 May this year be filled with magical moments. I am enjoying this season in Pune. Winter makes me feel so good. Couple of days back, I was sipping my coffee ; while capturing the beauty of nature, I saw my feet ek nazar. I remembered the cheesy dialogue from the movie, DDLJ;
“Aapki aankhe mujhe kisiki yaad dilati hai” My feet reminded me of my grandma’s feet! Because of the winters, my feet had become so dry! It was looking like some old lady’s feet! I had totally ignored taking care of them this winter. Oh my Gosh..!! 🙁 Very next moment I decided to shop some scrubs for my feet.
180 INR for 50g
What it claims:
A foot scrub with sea salt added to moisturizing base of sunflower oil, beeswax and cocoa butter. It exfoliates and softens hard dead skin, while lemon oil and mint oil have a cooling effect.
As you all know, scrubs remove the dead skin cells. It makes skin radiant, soft and glowing. My feet badly needed polishing 😀 I had liked fab India avocado foot cream a lot. Hence I wanted to try this brand again. Let us see how this one turned out.
My Experience with FabIndia Lemon and Mint Foot Scrub:
The ingredient list made me buy this product. It is full of oils, coca butter, beeswax and no parabens yet. This cutie comes in a good quality hard plastic tub. It is tiny and takes very less space in your cupboard. 🙂 It is covered by a silver foil to avoid a messy cap. Tub makes it unhygienic. *sad* I prefer tube packing over the tub ones. This yellow-colored scrub smells like a fresh lemons. The fragrance is quite strong.; it is very creamy with tiny scrub granules. It scrubs very well and tiny scrub granules are very gentle. It leaves oily residue even after washing with water. You need to wash it with soap in order to clean the oily residue. After washing, my feet were left soft and fresh. It scrubbed as well as moisturized my feet VERY well. I loved it. I used this before going to bed; next morning my feet fresh and soft.
Salt, Sunflower oil, Beeswax, Cocoa butter, Lemon oil, Glycerine, Shea butter, Sesame oil, Mint oil, Soyabean oil.
Pros of FabIndia Lemon and Mint Foot Scrub:
- The scrub is very gentle and does its job very well.
- Very moisturizing.
- Fresh lemon fragrance.
- Full of oil and butter contents.
- No parabens.
- Does what it claims except the cooling effect.
Cons of FabIndia Lemon and Mint Foot Scrub:
- Tub packaging makes it a bit unhygienic.
- Fragrance is a bit strong. It might be a con for those who do not like the strong lemon fragrance.
- No cooling effect as such.
IMBB Rating: 4.5/5
