My take on FabIndia Lemon Mint Shampoo for Oily Hair and Scalp
So, the oily hair ladies with dandruff problems and split ends, here is our problem solving product. To elaborate on my Hair type- My scalp is oily and the ends are super dry, summers worse the hair with dandruff, oily sticky scalp and roots with super dry ends. Winters the scalp behaves a bit better, but yet tends to act abnormal at times.
So this January and February actually damaged my hair, the weddings and travelling, the heat and the water change they damaged my hair to the worst extent. Lately I was hunting for a cleanser which could tame my scalp, so I landed to this FabIndia store at Connaught Place, Delhi (again I was travelling and was in Delhi for couple of days). Oily scalp and hair and with goodness of lemon and with the kind of scalp, and dandruff I had, I heard this product calling me, “PICK ME”
For my first usage, I oiled up my hair real good, kept it over night and shampooed but did not condition them because I wanted to check how this product will work for my hair ends. The squeaky clean scalp wash feel was great I must say, my scalp actually felt light rofl.
It’s a gel shampoo and I had to work with it to spread it evenly on my scalp, massaged it gently on my scalp, while working on the shampoo to the tips. I left it for a minute and felt the mint cooling action on scalp and washed off. I must say in one wash in was more than satisfied. It cleanses your dandruff and oils from the roots and scalp, though It made my mid and hair ends a bit dry. So my dry hair ends, from the next wash I started conditioning the tips of my hair. Overall this shampoo actually cleansed and removed off my dandruff too.
Packaging– Translucent white bottle with a press open cap, sturdy and easy to handle.
Texture and Smell- Thick light yellow colored gel, it takes time to get a nice build up in hairs.Smells of Lemons, light lemony fragrance will dissolves after some time.
