FabIndia Lemongrass Facial Spray
I was planning to buy this just because I wanted the small spray bottle. I have a habit of buying things because there is something free with it or I like the tub/pot/bottle that comes with it. Anyway, I didn’t have to buy it, I got it as a free gift from an online shopping site (makes me wonder if they’re psychic?!).
What it Claims:
Made with lemongrass essential oil, this facial spray has a cooling effect that instantly rejuvenates and refreshes you.
Ingredients:
Purified Water, Polysorbate 20, Glycerine, Phenoxyethanol, Allantoin, Lemongrass Essential Oil.
My Experience with FabIndia Lemongrass Facial Spray:
The liquid is pale yellow in colour and the white layer you see in the picture is the froth formed due to spraying. I spend a lot of time staring at screen and into books and I don’t always feel like getting up and washing my face. This spray is the perfect alternative! I love the lemon smell and it acts as a rejuvenator and makes me feel fresh enough to continue with my staring. This can also be used if you’re out and washing your face is not an option. I just keep this spray about 15 cms away from my face and spray once which is more than enough. There is, however, one problem; if it gets into the eyes, it stings a bit; though it has not caused me any kind of problem or harm.
If you’re looking for any toning, this product is not the answer, but to be fair, it doesn’t claim any such effect. I don’t know why I did not think of buying it in summer, it would have been such a relief, but it still serves the purpose of saving me the trouble of washing my face with that ice cold water. Yay! I have been using it regularly for about a month and a lot of the 50 ml is left.
Price: Rs. 150 for 50 ml.
Pros:
- Spray bottle which is small and handy. It will fit snugly into the handbag.
- The fragrance makes you feel really fresh.
- Obviates the need for washing your face constantly with water.
- Contains Allantoin (Allantoin is a valuable cell-proliferating healing agent which stimulates healthy tissue formation and has a pronounced keratolytic and skin softening action cleasing up the areas where applied).
Cons:
- Stings when it enters your eyes.
Will I Buy it Again?
Yes, one spray bottle is never enough, you know.

I have oily skin…I forgot mentioning that.
he he m confused now :stars: :stars: :stars: is it good or bad :silly:
Depends on what you’re looking for, jyo. It does save me the trouble of washing my face again and again but you have to take care that it doesn’t get into your eyes. Like I mentioned, it doesn’t have any benefits per se. :specs:
thn i’ll skip this
i have used it. You are right, it stings so badly. 🙁 I ended up wasting half of the bottle because I always had to be extra carful while applying it. Totally did not like. :((
I wanted the spray bottle and the orange bitter spray was, well, bitter :stars: You tried that mist from L’Occitane? I think that was kept beneath the Lancome wala scrub :teeth
i used it in summers. Ot worked fine then. guess it dsnt not work well in winters.
Rati i think this one works for oily skin and not for dry skin
ohh may be then will try again in next summer

Use rose water , the tea tree one leaves behind a film :yuck:
I bought Patanjali’s rose water and its only Rs 25 but it doesn’t come with a pray bottle 😐
maansi can use fabindia empty rosewater …..and pour other rosewater to use it………that spray bottel is very good :waytogo: :waytogo: :waytogo: :waytogo:
I save all the spray bottles that I buy  and you can use the patanjali rose water sim, it is good and cheapppppp
Good Review Maansi
Shivani, Thanx. You have oily skin too, right?
Nice Review,Maansi! :waytogo: But I’m not sure about purchasing this…I’m a rather clmsy person so the ey stinging thing is inevitable. :tremble: But the lemongrass part of it is rather tempting. 🙄
I know Pragny, it’s like you spray and rush to wipe your eyes but after all the staring that I do, the smell draws me to it again :pigtail:
I have their orange spray and got this one as a gift from UT. I think i like the orange one better but i have to agree with Sim, that this spray is for oily skin. It worked for me [oily skin] but dint work for my friend who has dry skin! :specs:
I didn’t try the orange one because of that weird aftertaste when it seeps inside the skin and into your mouth :tremble:
Hey Maansi, I got this as a free gift too, and I am sure they gave it as free gift because no one else wanted to buy it :chewnails :chewnails :chewnails :chewnails .. I got it twice, one I gave away to my sis and the other I give to my 22 month old to play with..totally hate this!! such a waste :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: …only the fragrance is nice but like you said it stings and it feels oily and sticky on my skin :yuck: :yuck:
:lol2: :lol2: no one wanted to buy it :lol2: Agnibanya, I have seen a lot of people getting this lemongrass spray as a gift but they gave me the fabindia aloe vera under eye gel as well and that was sold out on the site. But all the stuff they gave away was Fabindia :methinks: :methinks: Btw, you could have used this as a foot spray
arrey haan, foot spray… :woot: :woot: or maybe a facial mist when I’m all sweaty in the kitchen cooking Biryani
They are again giving surprise gifts :waiting: ….I think khatam nahi hua Fabindia ka stock
Maansi….I got too the mist as phree gift :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: but I think it is a differnt one….some bitter orange I think
Jomol , That one gets into the mouth and tastes :yuck: :yuck: I don’t know why Fab India can’t make a mist which tastes well and doesn’t sting :specs:
Nice review Maansi! I am using the bitter orange facial spray (after reading Rati’s review) and am pretty happy with it 🙂
:thanks: Nidhi…. I am glad you liked the orange one 🙂
