Hey Guys 🙂
Today I am going to review another skincare product for you guys. It is a green clay pack from Fabindia. Fabindia has this amazing line of face packs which are natural, effective and budget friendly at the same time. All the face masks have been reviewed on IMBB. I brought this two weeks ago along with the charcoal face pack which I have not yet tried. My skin is just not behaving in this season so I am getting break outs every now and then, so when I saw this at a store and read the list of ingredients I had to buy it. 🙂
Made using corn starch, milk solids, and green clay known for its natural detoxifying properties and skin toning properties. This pack evens the skin tone.
Directions to use:
Mix a spoonful of face pack with milk/yogurt for dry skin and rose water for oily skin. Apply on face, neck and arms in upward direction. Leave for 7-8 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.
My Experience with Fabindia Radiance Pack Green Clay:
It comes in a plastic jar which is bit different from the usual FI packing. You get 75 grams of the product which may seem a little less but for me it is not much of an issue. You can finish it fast and then try something different or if you love this you can definitely repurchase. It comes in powder form with minute granules in it. After reading the ingredient list I figured out that maybe it is walnut granules.
The fragrance of this pack is not something that will be loved by all. It is not irritating but not very nice. It is a bit difficult to describe. It may not be good for sensitive noses, you should smell it before you buy this.
Coming to the effectiveness of this. I made a paste of this using raw milk although I have combination to oily skin I did not used it with rose water as I knew that clay masks can be drying. I kept it on my skin for around 5-6 minutes and then used lukewarm water to rinse it off. I must say I am pretty satisfied with the results. It exfoliated my skin very effectively as I was rinsing it off. It also removed all the tan from my skin and it did give radiance to my skin. It really brightened up my skin and it was looking all fresh and felt super clean from the inside.
I did feel the need to use a moisturizer immediately after washing it off. I do not have a problem with this as it is a clay mask and definitely we need to moisturize our skin after using a clay mask (at least that is what I think is right because clay will make your skin dry). It did not give me any break outs (thankfully). Overall it is great mask for me but the radiance and the glow which I get does not last for more than two days. 🙁
Pros of Fabindia Radiance Pack Green Clay:
- Gives radiance to the skin.
- Freshens and brightens up my face.
- Removes tan.
- Exfoliates effectively.
- Amazing ingredient list.
- Easily available.
- Travel friendly.
Cons of Fabindia Radiance Pack Green Clay:
- Quantity could have been more (not a problem with me).
- Some may find it too drying but just use a moisturizer and you will be happy.
- Smell may bother some people.
- Effect does not last for more than two days.
Would I repurchase Fabindia Radiance Pack Green Clay?
Maybe when I finish this but I like to try different masks so that my skin can get all the goodness. 🙂
Last Word: Give this a try on your next visit to Fabindia or you can ask for a sample first and I know many of you will love this. 🙂
