My Experience with FabIndia Shea Butter Body Butter:
This Fabindia Body Butter comes in a tub type of packaging which works great to scoop out the product easily as there can be a lot of product wastage with tube or pump packaging due to its heavy density. The Fabindia Shea Butter Body Butter tub by itself is white in color while the cap is golden in color and it has a screw type of opening. Once opened there is a white inner lid that keeps the product intact and works best for travels. The packaging is simple yet classy.
It isn’t thick like the other body butters of other brands like The Body Shop. It’s more like a thick lotion with a very smooth consistency. It is very moisturizing and spreads like a dream. It gets absorbed without much rubbing and feels light too.
I had picked up this product from one of the Fab India Outlets last month. Well, it’s true that body butters are a bit heavy for summer use. Nevertheless, I couldn’t hold my temptation to buy this little cute jar as I was completely smitten by the beautiful gold based packaging that has all the details of the product clearly. My hands are usually dry year-long, so I don’t mind using light-weight body butters or lotions in summers.
The fragrance of this product is light with a mix of shea butter and almonds. The fragrance is mild and it lingers on for few hours and then it slowly disappears. It get absorbed by the skin easily and does not leave any form of greasiness or oiliness. In fact, this body butter nourishes the skin, making it healthy and supple for about 8 hours.
