My Experience with The Face Shop Shea Butter Lip Mask:

The packaging of the product is pretty simple and basic. The lip mask comes in a small plastic packet. The packet bears each and every product-related information. Inside this packet, comes a square-shaped transparent plastic tray, which has the lips mask in it. The lip mask comes in two pieces – one for the upper lip and one for the lower lip. These are separately covered with a foil. This foil acts as a protective sheath for the actual masks. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.

The mask is made of gelatinous kind of material which gives it a slimy feel. The lip mask is soft and slightly thicker. It adheres to the skin very nicely. Most of the lip masks out there come in a single sheet but this one comes with two separate masks for both the lips, so you can actually talk while this mask on your lips.

The mask is enriched with the goodness of shea butter to protect the lips from chapping and also to soften chapped lips. I have used a couple of these lip masks recently and I absolutely loved them so much. It perfectly does what it claims. The mask soothes my lips and takes away every bit of dryness and flakiness. I kept this mask for around 20 minutes on my lips.

The thick slimy layer got absorbed into the skin gradually and the mask hydrated my lips pretty well. My lips looked plumped and healthy. It also made them soft, smooth, and moisturized. The results of the mask lasted for around 2 days, which is quite impressive. Overall, this mask is quite good and the results are impressive. I find them more useful while travelling. When I cannot give much attention to my skin, I prefer using sheet masks. And now I have also incorporated these lip masks into my list of travel essentials.
