I had reviewed “Orange Scene” and “Red Up” from The Face Shop’s Watery Tint range previously on IMBB. Today, I am reviewing the shade “Pink Bella” from the same range. Read on for more details on this lip tint.

My Experience with The Face Shop Watery Tint 01 Pink Bella:

Let’s begin with packaging of the product. The lip tint comes in a transparent cylindrical plastic tube. The transparent tube helps in spotting the shades easily from makeup stash. The tube closes with a white screw on type cap that fits tightly making the packaging travel friendly. There is a soft, oval-shaped, pointed applicator attached with this cap. These lip tints come in six gorgeous shades. The shade name is printed on the base of the tube and at its back as well. Overall, the packaging is cute and travel friendly.

“Pink Bella” is a bright fuchsia pink shade. The color is so vibrant, it instantly brightens up dull face. It suits my skin tone very well. The color is suitable for fair to medium skin tones. The lip tints are basically expected to have lighter pigmentation while this one is insanely pigmented. One swipe gives semi-opaque coverage and gives full coverage in just two coats. Hence, it works more like a lip color when layered, but I prefer keeping it light and I love the sheer wash of color it gives to my skin.

It hides pigmented lips up to some extent. There is no sheen or shimmer and it almost settles down to a soft, matte finish. It has a very faint fragrance which is not even noticeable, but it has sweet taste which I personally dislike. All the lip tints from this brand have a sweet taste in it, which is quite too annoying. They taste too sugary and not to my liking.

The formula is actually very watery. It’s basically a lip tint in a liquid form, so I need to be extra careful while applying it on my lips as it bleeds very easily from the outer lip line. It has been clearly created as a lip product, but I thought why not try it as a cheek tint also. I applied it on my cheeks and I was so amazed to see how beautiful and natural it looked on my skin. It blended into the skin within seconds, giving a gorgeous flush of color to my cheeks. Two little dots give a perfectly natural pink color to the cheeks. It dries up pretty quickly, so you better blend it quickly after application to avoid getting patchy application.

I love this product totally as a lip tint and a cheek tint as well. It feels really light on the lips but it has a slightly sticky feeling whenever I purse my lips. Also, the formula is slightly moisturizing but my lips feel dry at the end of the day. It is transfer proof but not really waterproof.

The lasting power of this lip tint is somewhere around 3-4 hours on my lips with little snacking in between, which is great for a lip tint. It can be taken off easily using a regular makeup remover wipes. It gets removed easily and does not leave any stains behind.
