Skin Type: Normal to Dry
I am writing this review after finishing one bottle of this toner and I don’t even have the bottle now. 😀 So, how did this one work for me…let’s find out!
This translucent, brightening toner helps brighten the skin and clear away dullness without leaving a sticky residue. A compound of brightening ingredients (White Lupin Seed, which contains a natural brightening substance, and White Daisy Flower extract, which helps reducing dullness) makes skin look bright and clear. This White Seed Complex is formulated without 7 additives: parabens, tar colorant, animal-sourced ingredients, mineral oil, talc, polyacrylamide, paraffin.
INR 1690 for 145 ml.
How to Use:
Apply to clean skin. Soak a cotton pad with toner and wipe over the face and neck.
Water/eau • propanediol • 1,2-hexanediol • niacinamide • hydrogenated polydecene • triceteareth-4 phosphate • peg-2 stearate • glycol stearate • glycerin • caprylic/capric glycerides • hexylresorcinol • lupinus albus seed extract • bellis perennis (daisy) flower extract • salix alba (willow) bark extract • chenopodium quinoa seed extract • beta-glucan • butylene glycol • acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer • potassium hydroxide • disodium edta • parfum/fragrance.
My Experience with The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Toner:
This toner comes in a nice but basic pump packaging. The bottle isn’t a see-through one and you cannot make out the amount of product left. The pump works well and dispenses the right amount of product without any wastage.
The toner feels slightly sticky and thick in beginning but then it settles within a few seconds and disappears into the skin. This texture is not like other toners. It is slightly creamy, sticky and thick. It has a faint fragrance to it but it does not bother me.
I feel the toner does everything it claims, but yes, you need to wait a little to see the results. As I have mentioned before, I have finished one bottle and it took me more than two months of regular usage. It does not sting the skin and removes impurities like magic.
The skin starts looking clean, bright and healthy as soon as the toner gets absorbed. And, the best part is that results are not short-lived. The toner improved the overall texture and health of the skin with every usage. I have not been using it for almost two days now and my skin still looks quite healthy and hydrated.
I feel this toner is apt for dry skin but I am not sure how girls with oily skin will like it. Overall, I don’t have anything negative to say about this toner. It’s quite nice but a little expensive for the price. I mean, I would rather get a nice serum for 1700 bucks. Still, if you have dull, dry skin and you can afford this one, go for it. Else, I would say go for an alcohol-free toner and a brightening serum for better results. But that’s just my point of view, not a rule of thumb.
Pros of The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Toner:

- Does everything it claims.
- Deeply cleanses the skin.
- Brightens up skin.
