Though we buy teeny weeny things every now and then, but with a sale, we just can’t resist . Anyways today I am back with another faces Canada go chic lip gloss. I love experimenting with colours, either be in clothes or cosmetics. This time I picked a lip gloss with a hue of purple.

The gloss comes in a cute, round case with a black cap and a long stick applicator associated with it. The shade can easily be seen through the packing. I wanted to try something other than pink and red, so I picked up this one. The gloss case has the necessary information about shade name and little details

My experience with Faces Canada Go Chic Lip Gloss – Rhapsody

This my second lip gloss from faces Canada range. I had previously reviewed go chic lip gloss Candy ice, and after its use I thought of trying the other variants available. Main reason apart from the shade was its capability to keep the lips moisturised and nourished long after its use. The shade of the gloss is pretty purple and adds a beautiful light purple tint to the lips. There is no shimmer associated with it. Single swipe won’t give you the shade, so you might need multiple swipes to see the actual colour. Staying power is average, which is approximately of two to three hours. Shade intensity decreases with time. Left behind is the shine which it imparts as a gloss. Gives a kind of sheer look to the lips. Single swipe can be used over any other matte lip colour. This is not very sticky on the lips and won’t attract your hair to an irritable extent now and then.

It is sweet both in fragrance as well as taste. One thing I would like to mention is that, it makes the lips look dark to some extent. I don’t know why am I complaining about this? Since the shade is purple, it is supposed to add that color to the pout, but somehow I felt that it is made my lips look at bit dark apart from the colour. The applicator brush is soft and makes the application of the gloss easy. Since the gloss is full to the cap, it sometimes bounces back while screwing the cap back. So at the end I would like to say, that yes it is nice product especially if you love to experiment with colours like me. At an affordable price, nobody would mind buying and using this gloss and add it to their makeup drawers. It is apt for teenagers and young girls who are lovers of lip gloss.

What I liked about Faces Canada Go Chic Lip Gloss – Rhapsody

• Shade is different and pretty
• Non-sticky nature of the gloss
• Easily available
• Affordable
• The applicator brush is soft on lips
Keeps the lips soft and supple even after the removal of the gloss. Saying it with my own experience, I did not need to use a lip balm after its application for around 5 hours in winters.

What I dislike about Faces Canada Go Chic Lip Gloss – Rhapsody

• Staying power is average
• Sometimes it makes the lips look dark to some extent.
