Today the review is about faces Canada makeup wedges. I am not a foundation and concealer person normally and my daily routine consists of BB cream and blush. Recently, I had to attend a wedding and since I had received Max factor 3 in 1 foundation in my Vellvette box, I thought of trying it. I had read on IMBB that sponges help in even application of foundation and blend it well. So I got these. Read on to see how they fared.
My experience with Faces Canada makeup wedges:
These makeup wedges are a delight to work with. They are super soft and smooth. They blend the foundation like it’s no one’s business and are great for beginners. I take the foundation on the back of my hand and then apply it all over my face and neck with these wedges. They easily cover the area around the nose and eyes and leave a very smooth finish to the skin. To clean them you just have to wash them with soapy water and then rinse them thoroughly. Squeeze the extra water and let them air dry. They become as good as new, after using these with foundation at the wedding, I have started to use them to apply my BB cream and the application is much smoother as compared to fingers. They can be used wet or dry. The pack also says that these can be used to apply powder under the eyes. However I have not tried it with powder because I do not use powder. Overall, they are great at this price and will go a long way in my makeup box, one thing is that these are not pre-cut fully and are joined along a strip. You have to separate them due to which a mark remains on the sponge as you can see in the photos but I don’t find it a problem.
Pros of Faces Canada makeup wedges:-
1) Super soft and smooth.
2) Blend like a dream and give a smooth streak-free finish.
3) Super easy to clean.
4) Great value for money.
5) Can be used wet or dry.
6) Can be used to apply foundation, concealer and powder.
Cons of Faces Canada makeup wedges:-
1) People with Latex allergies cannot use this.
2) Not pre-cut fully.
Overall these wedges are a great value for money and super easy to work with. They can be used for multiple uses and are amazing for beginners.
