Hope you all are doing good! Today, I will review a lipstick from the Faces Rouge A Levres Lapiz Labial range in the shade called “Luisa.”

Product Description:

Colored shades to enhance the lips. Infused with Vitamin E to protect and moisturize with each beautifying application. Faces lipsticks come in over 180 shades in matte, sheer, cream and shimmer finishes.

Packaging:

It comes in an all-greyish color bullet case which is similar for all the lipsticks in this range. Hence, it is difficult to identify the color from the packaging.

Fragrance:

It is very similar to Parle G biscuit’ smell. Frankly, I am not a big fan of that smell.

My Experience with Faces Canada Rouge A Levres Lapiz Labial Lipstick – Luisa:

On my last visit to Faces Cosmetics store, I came across this range of lipsticks which look like tiny lipsticks.  These come in many shades and I bought a few shades. The color “Luisa” is a beautiful orange-red copper color which is loaded with extremely small shimmer particles. This color is very Indian and will be a great combination with ethnic wear. I have never tried or seen such a color before.

The texture is creamy but not very smooth. It feels slightly heavy on the lips and not buttery soft. It glides on easily and requires two or three swipes to build the color on the lips. The pigmentation is fine too and not something extra ordinary. The coverage is average but for the price I paid, I am quite fine with it. The lipstick does not settle within the fine lines on the lips. It also does not work greatly on pigmented lips, so it kind of needs some base created, for the actual color to show up.

It stays on the lips for around 1-2 hours and then it starts to fade. It does not stain or bleed; hence it is a good option for girls who don’t like the lipsticks which stain.

After it starts fading, it leaves behind tiny shimmer particles which stay on until you decide to clean it off.

• Fragrance.
• Feels slightly heavy on the lips.
• Not pigmented, will require multiple swipes for the color to show up.

Would I Repurchase Faces Canada Rouge A Levres Lapiz Labial Lipstick – Luisa?

These lipsticks are very similar to Faces Go Chic Range and I like the option of variety of colors they offer, so I will definitely pick up a few more colors.
