Hope you all are good and preparing well to beat the approaching summers. Today, I am reviewing an eye shadow palette from Faces which has four beautiful shades. Faces Go Chic Eye Shadow Quad comes in three variants – Wine Timed, Mauve Taupe and Aquamarine. The former two quads are already been reviewed on IMBB, so now is the time for the Aquamarine.  Let’s see how it looks like.

Price:

Rs. 299/- for 7 gm.

Product Claims:

Light and easy to blend, long-lasting formula with Vitamin E which helps nourish eyelids.

Directions For Use:

Use the applicator to gently apply on the eyelid area.

Ingredients:

Talc, mica, butyl stearate, mineral oil, pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate, zinc stearate, zinc oxide, isopropyl myristate, ethylhexyl palmitate, prunus amygdalus dulcis(sweet almond) oil, tocopheryl acetate, retinyl palmitate, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, butylparaben, propylparaben, isobutylparaben, [may contain (+/-) iron oxide (Cl77491, Cl77492, Cl77499), titanium dioxide (Cl77891), ultramarines (Cl77007), ferric ferrocyanide (Cl 77510), chromium oxide greens (Cl 77288), chromium hydroxide green (Cl 77289), manganese violet (Cl 77742), red 40 (Cl 16035), blue 1 (Cl 42090), yellow 5 (Cl 19140), carmine (Cl 75470).

About the shades:

Shade: 1 – It is a White highlighter with silver sheen.
Shade: 2 – It is an Ink-Blue color having silver sheen to it.
Shade: 3 – It is an Aqua-Green color having light golden sheen. This is the best shade among all four of them.
Shade: 4 – It is a Matte-Black color which is highly pigmented.

My Experience with Faces Go Chic Eye Shadow Quad in Aquamarine:

This eye shadow quad comes in a black case having transparent, see-through lid with the Faces logo on the top of it. Two-sided eye shadow applicator is also provided inside the case. All four eye shadow shades are smooth in texture. The combination of blue and aqua green looks great together. The pigmentation of the shades is also really good and you will get the original color in one swipe itself.

The matte black shade should be used lightly over lids, otherwise it will hide the overall effect of aquamarine. I found the applicator rigid to use over eyelids, therefore I switched over to my eye shadow brush for applying the shades. Overall, it is a good product that has excellent quality and the pricing is also reasonable. If you are planning your summer holidays at beach destinations, then you should definitely take this with you.

I absolutely adore all EOTDs done here, especially by Aparajita and Rashmita, therefore I also gave it a try. Hope you people like it.

Pros of Faces Go Chic Eye Shadow Quad in Aquamarine:

• Soft and smooth texture of all four shades.
• Good quality.
• Affordable, reasonably priced.
• All four shades have good pigmentation.

Cons of Faces Go Chic Eye Shadow Quad in Aquamarine:

• The only con I can find in the product was the applicator provided which was difficult to use.
