Honey Beige is a light to medium brown colored gloss. It has micro shimmer particles in it. The shimmer is very appropriate and gives a nice sheen to the lips. It isn’t at all over the top. It gives a wet shine kind of finish. This shade is perfect for daily wear, for college girls and for office-goers. It is kind of my perfect nude color. It is my go-to gloss whenever I do heavy eye make up. It neutralises my look.
Packaging and Applicator:
Gloss is in a transparent, sturdy, leak proof, rectangular tube. The color is properly visible through the gloss. It has Faces logo in the front. The shade name is not written on the front. Shade number is written below the tube. The number of this shade is 1. I think they should have mentioned the name somewhere, if not in the front, then below. The cap is white in color and made up of plastic.
The applicator is regular doe-foot type. This applicator picks up the right quantity of the product. It glides on easily on the lips and provides even coverage.
Pigmentation and Texture:
There is no problem with the pigmentation. A single swipe gives appropriate color. Pigmentation can be built up. The gloss is moisturising and doesn’t settle into fine lines. Shimmer doesn’t look chunky at all and gives a nice sheen to lips. It gives a coverage between sheer and opaque, but does hide the pigmentation of lips to most extent. It has a mild fruity fragrance and doesn’t feel heavy at all on the lips. The gloss is slightly sticky.
This gloss lasts on me for 2-3 hours with slight meals in between. Shine and a mild tint on lips stays for about 4-5 hours.
