One more matte lipstick review from Faces; though it is not a new launch. The shade reviewed today is Cinnamon.

My Experience with Faces Cinnamon Ultime Pro Long Wear Matte Lipstick:

The lipstick comes in a matte black plastic tube with shade name and number mentioned on a color coded sticker at the base of the lipstick. The cap is not flimsy and shuts with a click, hence it can be easily carried in your makeup pouch.

The texture is super creamy to begin with; which settles to a moist matte finish after a while. There are no shimmers in the lip color hence it applies smooth and creamy. The pigmentation is medium to buildable. Though one swipe is enough for covering pigmented lips yet two swipes will bring in the actual shade.

The color is a rich brown with yellowish undertones. It would suit beautifully to yellow under-tone skinned beauties. It would pair beautifully with green smoky eyes and coral blush. The shade is also apt for formal meetings/presentations.

The staying power ranges from 4 to 5 hours with normal food/fluid intake. Though there is room for improvement, I do not mind reapplying it due to the creamy texture that it has.
