Faces is becoming my favourite affordable cosmetic brand now, at least as far as eye pencils are concerned 😛 When I last visited Faces counter, there was a 50% discount on some products and I saw this eye pencil in the discounted stock. I was curious about a grey liner, hence I picked up this shade. Remember “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam?” Aishwarya had worn a grey liner and her eyes looked absolutely stunning! I was curious to try a grey liner since then though I am not Aishwarya, but experimenting doesn’t hurt, does it? 😉 If you are fair to medium complexioned, you can pick this shade up without any doubts!
Let me tell you about this:

My Experience with Faces Eye Pencil in Charcoal:
Shade: Charcoal is a blackend grey shade which works well when I don’t want stark eyeliner. This is a great shade to wear to the office. I sometimes smudge it and get soft grey smokey eyes!
Staying Power: I wear this pencil to office and it stays put on my lids and waterline for around 10 hours. It does fade away a bit, but it is not even noticeable.
Removal: I use baby oil and this gets removed very easily.
Price and Quantity:
249 INR for 1.22 g (I got it for Rs. 125).
Pigmentation: This pencil is quite pigmented and I get the true shade even in a single swipe. But out of habit, I layer this on my lids and I have not faced any problem with that.
This pencil is smooth but not so smooth that it will crumble! Sometimes with smooth eye pencils, I have faced the issue that the amount of product used up is more; I mean the pencil gets over much sooner, but this pencil is not one of those. Even though it is smooth, you will not use more product and the pencil will last for quite some time. I have used this pencil with and without lenses. But you may want to look at the scary list of ingredients before buying it. Faces eye pencils are great for quality and price. I already have three of these and all of them are great in quality and staying time. If you are a fan of eye pencils, these are not to be missed.
