Faces Glam On Eyeshadow – Sunglow Review

Faces Glam On Eyeshadow – Sunglow Review

This one was an impulse buy. I had gone to shop for clothes at Pantaloons and I stopped by the Faces counter there to “just take a look” *wink* at their products (Aww, common don’t we all do that). Well, I ended up buying this one and a few lip glosses at the Lakme counter which was just next to the Faces counter: DBut this is one of my few impulse buys that I don’t regret! Okay, let’s proceed with the review of this eye shadow.

My Experience with Faces Glam On Eyeshadow – Sunglow:

The eye shadow comes in the usual Faces packaging – a tiny black flip-top case with a transparent lid which enables us to see the color. There is no applicator provided with it.  This eye shadow is a gorgeous metallic brown color. I personally think they should have called this bronze instead of sunglow.  It has an amazing color payoff. You don’t need to swipe multiple times to get the color, just one swipe and you get very intense color, but the one big drawback is that there is quite a lot of fallout around in the case and also a little when we apply.

The staying power is really good. Even without a primer, it stays on my lids for 5-6 hours without fading away.  I think this is a very versatile color. It would look good on most Indian skin tones and can be used in so many ways! It can be used by itself all over the lids, it can be used with a lot of brighter colors to create a lot of looks.  It would work great as a highlighter too as well when applied with a light hand.

This would look great with ethnic wear when used by itself as well as when used with other brighter colors. When using as a single all over the lids shade, I made the rookie mistake of wearing it during the daytime for an outdoor event. Since this is a light metallic shade, it reflected so much light that in the photos my eyes appeared closed 😛

All in all, this is a gorgeous shade which I think you will never regret buying!
