Faces Glam On Oxblood Color Perfect Lipstick Review

I am currently in love with this range from Faces since their formula is just something that every woman will love! I have already reviewed a lot of shades from them and now I have a very different shade from the range called “Oxblood.” Initially, I thought this is not my kind of a shade because it looked something close to a brown, but when I swiped it, I loved it! My Experience with Faces Glam On Oxblood Color Perfect Lipstick:

The Faces Glam On range is innovative as far as the packaging is concerned.  The lipstick looks extremely classy in transparent square packaging with black and gold inside. I picked a lot of shades from this range and noticed that most of the shades are intensely pigmented and the colors are mostly on the bolder side. The shades range from corals to pinks which the younger generation can wear and also has mature shades like browns and purples.

This particular shade is a deep plum colour which is extremely pigmented and looks very bold. The shade has hints of brick, which I would rightly call the brown tinge, and that makes the color a perfect marsala shade. The lipstick imparts an instant glow to the face regardless of the complexion or skin tone.

It is a very versatile shade that would suit all age groups. The lipstick looks very elegant and sophisticated when applied and adds a lot of spice to the look. I think it is a perfect shade to pair up with smokey eyes to create that sensual and seductive look. The texture is buttery soft and glides on super easily on the lips. Just one swipe and there is a bold colour on your lips. This shade makes my skin tone look a lot brighter and my teeth look whiter too.

Due to the intense pigmentation, it settles into the fine lines and you can see that when you try to remove it using a makeup remover. The lipstick looked glossy at first, but then settled into a matte finish with a subtle glossy sheen. It stays on my lips for more than 9 hours which is commendable sine this is the boldest shade in the range, but I hadn’t expected it to stay for so long. I am totally impressed with the pigmentation and the terrific staying power.

It also survives light meals and the colour would lose only a little intensity if you have a full meal. Even after 9 hours, when the lipstick fades away, it leaves a strong plum stain on the lips which look lovely. The pigmentation has certain cons since it transfers a lot on to cups and also to your fingers if you tend to touch your lips. Also, it might bleed a little from the corners of the lips, so I have to keep prepping it up. But these cons can be ignored because the finish, the quality, the staying power and the shade, everything is just so amazing. A must-have winter shade for all. Total thumbs up for this one!

Would I Repurchase Faces Glam On Oxblood Color Perfect Lipstick?

Yes totally! It is an amazing deep plum shade which looks very sophisticated and elegant as the finish is matte and makes the face look very bright and glowing. This is a must-try shade for winter as it screams “warmth.” It lasts super long, so just a swipe and poppy lips all the time!
