Lately, I am into glosses and I don’t know when will this phase wear off! I got this one from Faces recently on a discount. Let’s know more about it.

My Experience with Faces Go Chic Lipgloss in Star Berry:-

Packaging: The gloss comes in a transparent tube with a wand who’s handle is black in color. The gloss tube comes housed in a carton, which I like. The ingredients and other details are given on the carton. The gloss is easy to carry around in purses for touch ups. The applicator is a conventional doe-foot one.

Shade: Star berry is a pretty brownish bronze with bronze shimmers. The brown is not too bold and looks pretty in fact. When I looked the tube I was totally disappointed, but it looks very pretty on my lips. The shimmers are a little chunky for my liking, but that’s okay since I prefer wearing this for festive occasions. It will suit almost all skin tones.

Texture and pigmentation: The texture isn’t that light and it feels slightly sticky. Pigmentation is also average, but for a brown I think it is fine. It gives medium coverage to pigmented lips too. It would make a good top coat for lipsticks as well.

Lasting power: As it is a gloss, it transfers to cups and culinary. I do not expect it to stay for a long time either. It stays for 2+ hours and survives only light meals. But it transfers heavily and with one heavy meal and it is gone. The chunky shimmers are left behind afterwards. After it fades, it does not leave a lovely sight behind. You either have to remove it completely or re-apply immediately as it looks awkward.

• Transfers heavily, since it’s a gloss.
• After the gloss disappears, the shimmers are left behind.
