Faces Go Chic Lipstick Glazy Orchid

Dear Beauties,

Though I am a big fan of faces eye liners I have never tried their lipstick range. Before leaving india I really wanted to grab few of their lipsticks which were in my wish list since long so when placing the order online I came across this shade Glazy Orchid and it looked lovely shade of mauve + purple. Since I didnt have a single purple shade in my collection I added this one too in my cart and have been using it since last couple of weeks. So lets take a look how it fared 🙂

My Experience with Faces Go Chic Lipstick Glazy Orchid:

Faces Go Chic Lipstick have been a rage among all makeup lovers.  Priced at 199 for 4.5 gm, these have been topping the charts of most affordable lipstick since quite some time now. The packaging is quite nice atleast better than Colorbar Velvet Matte ones. Faces Go Chic comes in black box packaging with ingredient list mentioned on it and other detail like price and quantity. The lipstick itself comes in nice black case which I find quite classy. Over all with the price I think the packaging is quite good, the only complain few may have is that lipstick shade cannot be determined from outside but I don’t own hundreds of lipsticks so it is fine with me 🙂

The texture of the lipstick is creamy and glides smoothly on lips without any tugging. The shade is exactly what I wanted, it is a perfect mix of purple and mauve and looks pretty good. It has very fine silver and gold shimmer particles which gives this lipstick a frosty look but its not frosty at all. The shimmers are not OTT at all but yes they do tend to stick on lips once the color has faded though it doesnt look very bad but definitely is a con.

The pigmentation is good not amazing but with 2 coats you’ll get a beautiful color on lips. I personally feel this shade will suit fair to medium skin tones very well. The staying power is pretty good and it stayed on my lips for 3 to 4 hours with in between munching 🙂

Pros:-
-> Very pretty shade which is perfect mix of mauve and purple
-> It has very fine shimmer of gold and silver which makes it perfect for night time wear
-> The texture is creamy and glides smoothly on lips
-> Good staying power of 3 – 4 hours with in between meals
-> Decent Pigmentation
-> Good sturdy packaging
-> Reasonably priced for 4.5 gms of product!
-> Does not dry out lips

Cons:-
-> The shimmer tends to stick on lips once the shade has faded, though nothing OTT.
-> Might not suit dark skin tones

Do I recommend:- Yes its a decent lipstick and if you love purple shades you can definitely give it a try :0
