Faces Hydro Cleanser Review

I was surprised to see that the cleanser and toner from the “Hydro” range of Faces was not covered on IMBB yet, so here is a review of the cleanser (toner review coming up soon).

Product Description:
Wipe off extra dirt, makeup from your face with Faces Hydro Cleanser. It is white colored lotion which you can massage on the skin. Infused with organic ingredients, it eradicates impurities and gives your skin youthful glow. With hydrating formula, this cleanser apart from cleaning maintains skin’s natural moisture level. It provides gentle cleansing without harming the skin.

My Experience with Faces Hydro Cleanser:

The packaging is simple and functional. It comes with an outer paper carton with detailed information. The bottle is made of sturdy plastic and the cap secures well; you can carry it along on your trips. The pump dispenses the product well and the quantity can be controlled. The inclusion of a pump in a cleanser is definitely hygienic and smart.

The texture is smooth and the consistency is slightly thicker than milk. I was a bit baffled initially – whether it was a cleansing milk or a face wash as the directions were confusing. We either use it on a cotton pad or wash it off like a face wash. So, I tried it both ways and also as directed on the pack.

I would say from my personal experience, it’s a cleansing milk and you do not need to wash the face after applying with a cotton pad. Following up with a toner is just enough. It is not a “face wash” cleanser, so I use it mostly at nights during my CTM routine.

The cleanser has a very mild feeble smell which is good for me as I do not like heavily-scented stuff for my skin care. Also, please note that this is an everyday cleanser and might only remove bits of makeup here and there, it would not completely remove makeup even if it is not waterproof. I was not disappointed as it did not claim and I did not expect. This is an everyday cleanser, mild and calming, I quite like the simplicity of the product.

Repurchase – I might not, because I like trying out new stuff; nothing wrong with the product.
Recommend – yes, if you are looking for a mild everyday cleanser.
