My Experience with Faces Hydro Face Mist:

The Faces Hydro Face Mist comes in a green paper box and the actual mist comes packaged in a semi-transparent light green plastic bottle with a perfect spray nozzle and a semi-clear cap. The spray nozzle provides a good amount of the mist at once. It is a small travel size bottle that works perfectly and takes a small place in my bag. I love this cute packaging.

This mist has a normal water-like consistency that easily spreads all over my face and feels soothing on the skin. I prefer to spray it at night after washing my face and then I wipe off the excess from my face. It has a very sweet fragrance of green apples that feels good on the skin. As per the name it is a “hydro” mist, which means it contains moisture. And yes, it provides instant hydration to the skin. It neither feels too light nor heavy on the skin, but it does feel sticky on the skin since it contain glycerin.

Basically, I have a super oily skin so I generally try to avoid products that contain glycerin because such products make my skin oilier and greasier. This mist also makes my skin oily and it doesn’t get absorbed properly. So overall, my face starts to look greasy after a few hours; I need to wipe off excess with a cotton pad. Yet, I would say, the mist refreshes my skin perfectly and provides an instant soothing effect. It is really good for dry skin as it works magically to provide that desired hydration. It makes skin super soft and smooth. It helps hide dryness or patchiness. It instantly brings dull skin back to life, hence is a good one to use if you spend your whole day in an AC room.

This mist can also be used to set makeup and to reduce the powdery effect. It’s still so humid in my city. As I mentioned earlier, it ends up making my skin oily and greasy, so I do not prefer to apply it over my makeup. Even though this mist is not meant for my oily skin, it is a blessing for dry skin. It has never broken me out and it never made my skin oily or irritated. I would love to use it during winters.
