First of all here’s wishing you all very Happy Diwali and a very Happy and Prosperous New Year Ahead! I am visiting my mom and dad for Diwali and have been super busy with all the shopping and visiting relatives. It the first Diwali after marriage so enjoying all special attention 🙂

So today Ill be reviewing one of my favorite liners for everyday wear and it is Faces Canada Long Wear Eye pencil in Metal Brown. I have been using this liner since almost a year now and even got backups of it. You all already know my love for Faces Eye pencils, I have already reviewed Purple and Forest Green earlier here.

Faces Metal Brown shade costs 249 but sadly they have not increased the prices to 349 recently.

My experience with Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil -Metal Brown:

Faces eye pencils come in black packaging with colored bottom and colored caps which I feel really makes it easy to find them in case you have quite a few of pencils. The cap fights perfectly so its apt for travelling as well. I always have this pencil in my handbag and have never faced any issues with the cap.

The texture of the pencil is creamy and glides like a butter on eyelids. There is no tugging or pulling required. The pigmentation is beautiful and you just need one swipe to see that true color on your eyes. The liner once sets it smudge proof and water proof. The staying power is once again commendable since it stays on my eyes the whole day until and unless I remove it with a makeup remover.

The shade metal brown is beautiful brown with coppery sheen to it. It does not contain any visible shimmer or glitter but the coppery sheen gives it an edge over other matte pencils available. Also I have highly pigmented eyelids so matte brown liners usually don’t show up much on me but this one shows up beautifully and adds a little of ooomph to the boring brown shade. I find this perfect for office wear or neutral makeup. I have tried the shade on waterline too and works beautifully. No irritations at all so I think it will suit gals with sensitive eyes too.

Over all a must have shade for all brown eye liner lovers!
