I have been using Lakme nail polish remover for a long time. It was out of stock at that time. Along with my other purchases at the Faces counter, I picked this. Let’s see how it fared. Product Claims:
- Acetone Free
- Enriched with Vitamin E
- Do not dry the nail
My take on Faces Nail Enamel Remover:
The product comes in a thick glass bottle. For the same quantity,Lakme bottle looks and weighs lesser than this one. The nail polish remover liquid comes in a pleasant light peach color liquid. I find this extremely mild. Hence it requires 4 to 5 swipes to clear up the nail polish fully. For a person like me who uses multiple layers of nail polish like base coat, nail polish, top coat and crackle nail polish at times, this product is a total miss. It eats up a lot of product.
Pros of Faces Nail Enamel Remover:
- Travel friendly bottle.
- Acetone free.
After Numerous Swipes:
- Not effective.
- Requires a lot of product.
- Overpriced for the quality.
I am quite happy with my Lakme remover but I don’t think it is acetone free. So, next I am eyeing the Colorbar nail polish remover.
