My Experience with Faces Peach on the Beach Ultime Pro Lip Creme:

Packaging:
These lip crèmes come in a regular plastic cylindrical tube with color coded labels on the outer cardboard box with a see through option. If you notice, the color of the labels and the crème would not match, but they are kind of close or least help you narrow down your choice. Also I see that the shelf life being imprinted on the side of the tube as a huge advantage as we are likely to lose that information with time as we use the product.

Color:
‘Peach on the Beach’ is out and out a pure coral with mild pink undertones with an edge of softness to this particular coral creme shade. A color to be worn with a little bold makeup, else the beauty of this coral will go unnoticed. This true, sheer, creamy peach shade would suit medium to fair complexioned beauties. For dusky skin tones, it can add an extra tinge of beauty. This soft shade lip crème does require a lip liner like browns or pinks along with, or a soft coral or nude lipstick for fuller looking lips. It is also a tricky shade to work with, the lip swatch would say it all.

Pigmentation and Coverage:
To be able to do full justice to the color and the crème, I wear at least two to three coats of the lip crème. From my experience so far, this color has not worked in my favor in terms of even coverage. It is decently pigmented for a lip crème; this particular shade requires at least two dips to acquire product to fill the gaps. I did not use any lip liner or lipstick below; I just used the baby lips electro pop fierce n tangy for a smooth application, but still it provided me an uneven finish which took me aback. Not once did this happen, always with this shade, wonder why!

I suggest exfoliation for a smooth application and a better color pay off. For a soft pastel peach, the pigmentation is good and it provides a mediocre coverage especially when you have your lips prepped well. The lip crème does not bleed or feather, but creases the lip lines depending upon a single or double coat. Eventually the product settles wherein the lines are not too obvious.

Texture and Consistency:
The ultime lip crème has an ultimate pro smooth consistency with a mild cup cake flavor to it. The texture of this lip crème is neither too heavy nor feather light. You can feel that you are wearing a smooth lip crème on. So is the crème in terms of hydration – it does not moisturize the lips but definitely does not dry them out. Although the range offers vibrant and summery colors, for this reason, these crèmes can be safely worn during winters.

Staying Power:
The crème, upon wearing, settles well and even upon rubbing, it does not move around much. While sipping on water, it is not disturbed much but the intensity of the color slowly fades from a sip or two and then with a snack and leaves an uneven stain. The reapplication is smooth and easy. The only potential problems could be that when worn initially, it takes time to settle on the lips during which the uneven finish or the touch ups would cause it to transfer a lot. Be extra careful when you are sporting soft colored outfits, else all is well.

Overall:
The color is not to-die-for, but definitely a soft, peachy – pink, summery, beach color. Maybe, in future, I would wear it with a lipstick or rush it with a liner. I am more than just happy with this soft coral. 🙂

Cons of Faces Peach on the Beach Ultime Pro Lip Creme:

• A tricky soft peach shade to work with
• Expensive; they could bring down the price of this range a bit
• Does not moisturize your lips but does not exactly dry your lips out
• The more the color transcends from neutral, the more it stains or transfers
• Upon fading, it leaves an uneven peach stain
• Mediocre coverage can pose a potential problem to pigmented lips
• Requires touch ups often

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Faces Peach on the Beach Ultime Pro Lip Creme?
As of now, I do not see myself repurchasing this one as I have a lot of corals lined up in my vanity. If you are looking for that soft yet bright summer peach, then I would recommend this one.

‘Peach on the Beach’ can definitely add color to your summer straw beach hat!
