Faces Sparkle Dust Pigments in WISH Review

I got myself a stack of loose pigments from Faces, which they have named as Sparkle Dust. I was on the lookout for this stack since Mrunmayee got herself a stack in WILD. The review for that is at this link

I must say that IMBB articles are sooooo tempting and it just makes me go beyond my budget πŸ˜› Next on my wishlist are loose pigmets from MAC πŸ˜€

Honestly? I had never heard of FACES as a brand and I was introduced to it by IMBB. So when I saw a faces counter at Dorabjee’s in Pune, I straight went to it. The SA started showing me some lipglosses but I straight out asked about these loose pigments. She was Shocked that I knew about them! LOL πŸ˜› She hadn’t even displayed them at the counter. Ha ha!

So, here’s how my stack looks like:

It has five shades as is evident from the image. The shades are:
1. Mehendi green
2. Turquoise blue
3. Magenta Pink
4. Crimson Red
5. Bottle green

Only one word can describe these pigments and that is AWESOME! I totally loved them!

The whole stack cost me Rs.650/-

So coming to the texture of these dusts: These pigments are really fine and have a lot of fine sparkle in them. Once applied they look simply beautiful!

They stay on for a very long time and smudge very little. I have noticed very little rather negligible fallout and I must say that I am extremely impressed with it’s quality.

They are odorless (thank God) and highly pigmented. Just a little color goes a really long way!

The stack as such looks extra cute and the screw on lids add to the novelty of the whole package. It looks really pretty on the dresser (I am a sucker for cute packaging) and the vibrant colors in the stack make it more endearing πŸ™‚

The sparkle in these pigments are really fine and don’t look tacky at all rather it looks very subtle and thus makes it extremely wearable!

The package as such is extremely sturdy and is made of very good quality plastic.

The pigments are mineral based and hence changes of reactions are negligible.

Here are a couple of looks that I did with these pigments:

For this look, I used the Mehendi Green and Bottle Green pigments.

For this look, I used the Magenta Pink pigment.

I shall be providing a short tutorial for the green EOTD. Another look at it is as follows:

And another:

The steps are as follows:
1. I first primed my lids with some NYX Eye Shadow base and then patted some Oriflame loose powder on them.
2. Then using a fluffy eye shadow brush I patted on some Mehendi Green pigment on my lids from my lash line to my eye sockets.
3. Next, taking some bottle green pigment I applied it on my outer V and along my sockets.
4. I blended the pigments well and used a light golden highlighter on my brow bone.
5. I finished the look with Maybelline’s Gel liner on my water line and my upper lash line.

Hope you guys liked my look πŸ™‚
